Peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians continue to progress behind the scenes. On Monday, Israeli and Palestinian negotiators held their fourth meeting since the renewal of talks last month.
No details about Monday's meeting were released.
Despite the overall veil of secrecy, the U.S. did say on Monday that negotiations had not been halted due to the deaths of three Palestinians in an anti-terror raid by the Israel Defense Forces in Qalandiya near Jerusalem.
After the incident, the Palestinians hinted that talks with Israel would be suspended. But no official announcement of such a suspension was issued by the Palestinian Authority, which said only that "as of now, no decision has been made on how to respond to these grave events."
