Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to meet Monday at the PA's government compound with a delegation of Israeli MKs and public figures who will be coming from Israel to Ramallah to express support for the continuation of talks between Israel and the Palestinians.
MK Hilik Bar (Labor), who organized the visit, will serve as head of the delegation.
Abbas met in Ramallah with U.S. special envoy to the peace process Martin Indyk Friday. Palestinian officials stated that the two discussed the latest developments in the talks between negotiation teams, and agreed to meet again in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Palestinian security forces operating over the weekend in the northern West Bank arrested wanted individuals in Jenin and in a refugee camp near the city.
Palestinian security officials told Israel Hayom that the Palestinian police and special forces will continue to operate against all those endangering Palestinian national security.
