The Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, in central Israel, will hold a drill on Nov. 7 to train for how to respond to a radiological weapon attack.
The Israel Defense Forces, Health Ministry, Israel Police, Magen David Adom Emergency Medical Service, and Holon Municipality will take part in the drill. A team from the U.S. Department of Energy will also participate.
The exercise will cover a number of scenarios, including an unconventional attack with a radiological weapon.
During the exercise, the hospital will simulate treating 70 patients in its underground operating rooms.
