Mati Tuchfeld began his journalistic career 11 years ago at Makor Rishon. Since then, Tuchfeld has covered politics and the law for a number of media outlets. Among other things, he was a reporter for the Schocken group, at the website News1 and on Radio Kol Hai. With the launch of Israel Hayom, Tuchfeld joined the paper as its political reporter, covering political parties, the Prime Minister's Office and other government ministries, faction headquarters and Knesset members. Tuchfeld completed his academic studies at the Ariel University Center in Samaria, and has a bachelor's degree in political science and communications from Bar Ilan University.
