A month after Israel and the United Arab Emirates signed a historic peace agreement and Israel and Bahrain agreed to normalize relations, the agreements will be presented to the Knesset for ratification on Monday, the Prime Minister's Office announced Thursday.

Chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee MK Zvi Hauser (Derech Eretz) said he opposed approving the agreement in the Knesset plenum before it could be discussed in his committee.

Hauser is calling on Netanyahu to present to the committee all the agreements made with the UAE and Bahrain before they were brought to the Knesset, "including classified details that are not stated in the language of the agreements."

According to Hauser, "Netanyahu must present the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee with every detail of the agreements, including the secret ones; the defense significance [of the deals] and the expected ramifications. The Knesset must not be the government's rubber stamp."

Hauser also said that Netanyahu must present the committee with the details of the understand with Bahrain prior to it being brought to the Knesset for approval.

Next month, Israel and the UAE are slated to sign another deal that would allow direct flights between the two countries, and formally allow Israeli citizens to enter the kingdom on Israeli passports.

A few weeks ago, Saudi Arabia agreed to allow flights to and from Israel to use its airspace. That decision is expected to prompt Asian airlines to expand operations to Israel and significantly shorten flight times to the far East.

Transportation Minister Miri Regev said, "Once again, we have broken boundaries, this time in the air."
