Electric scooter rentals, which have already become popular in several Israeli cities, will now also be featured in Petah Tikva, central Israel and Afula, which is in the north of the country.

Bird Micro-Electric Mobility provides commuters with an eco-friendly and efficient mode of transportation. Over 350 scooters will be installed in Petah Tikva alone.
Such rentals are already available in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Eilat and other cities.
According to Birds, the company is active in 160 cities worldwide. Data shows its scooters make up 30% of all trips made between 8 and 10 a.m. and 5 and 7 p.m. to and from workplaces.
