A man and wife who rushed to the scene of Friday's deadly terrorist attack in Jerusalem to assist the wounded were named among the seven victims murdered by the Palestinian terrorist.

Natali and Eliyahu Mizrachi, who wed two years ago, sprang out of their Neve Ya'akov home to assist those who were hurt in the attack, and were fatally shot by the gunman who was still at large. They were in the midst of Friday's Shabbat dinner when they heard the gunshots, family members said.

Natali was a veteran employee of the Jerusalem's Hadassah Medical Center, where she was taken after being shot and died upon arrival. The couple was laid to rest on Saturday evening in Beit Shemesh.

The other victims were Rafael Ben Eliyahu (56), Asher Natan (14) , Ilya Sosansky (26), Irina Korolova (59), and Shaul Hai (68).

Natan – the oldest of seven siblings – had left the family home to go and meet some friends after the Shabbat meal when he was shot dead by the terrorist. He was laid to rest on Saturday evening on the Mount of Olives.

Rafael Ben Eliyahu worked for the Israel Post. He is survived by his wife and three children, one of whom was critically wounded in the attack.

Hai was the gabbai (sexton) of a local synagogue. He was shot while on his way to a Torah lesson.

Korolova, a Ukrainian citizen, worked as a caretaker. Condemning the shooting, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, We share Israel's pain after the terrorist attacks in Jerusalem. Among the victims is a Ukrainian woman. Sincere condolences to the victims' families. The crimes were cynically committed on the International  Holocaust Remembrance Day. Terror must have no place in today's world. Neither in Israel nor in the Ukraine.

The shooting was the deadliest terror attack against Israelis in over a decade.
