A terrorist was eliminated Sunday after a stabbing attack at the Beersheba central bus station.

The terrorist was later identified as Naji Abu Freh, 27, was resident of the Bedouin city of Rahat.

He was shot by a soldier who was nearby and later died.
"The terrorist who carried out the stabbing attack was neutralized by security forces with gunfire and later pronounced dead," police said in a statement.
Two people were lightly injured in the attack. After receiving medical attention at the scene, they were transported to a hospital for further tests.
