13 people were injured in a car-ramming attack on Thursday afternoon at Karkur Junction, near Route 65 in northern Israel. Among the victims, a 17-year-old girl is in critical condition with a head injury, while a 60-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman are seriously wounded.

The terrorist, a 52-year-old Palestinian from Jenin, fled the scene in his vehicle and was neutralized near Gan Shmuel after ramming into a police patrol car.

According to Deputy Commissioner Assi Aharoni, head of the Police Spokesperson's Division, the terrorist "spotted Israelis waiting at a bus stop at Karkur Junction. He swerved his vehicle and ran them over. From there, he fled toward Gan Shmuel and encountered a police patrol car on the way. He rammed into the vehicle, injuring one officer. The officers opened fire at the terrorist and neutralized him."

"There were young men standing on the sidewalk," recounted Yoni, an eyewitness. "There's a bus stop there. A car came speeding, veered onto the sidewalk, hit them, and fled. It was chaotic and tense. People who were there tried to help the injured until the ambulances arrived."

MDA medic Orly Keinan describes: "It was a severe scene. When we arrived with large forces, we saw the injured, some of whom were lying on a dirt mound behind the bus stop. They told us they had been hit by a vehicle that veered onto the sidewalk and fled. We provided them with life-saving medical treatment, including stopping bleeding, bandaging, and immobilizing injuries, before evacuating them to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center."
