The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a US-backed aid organization, released photos Tuesday of food being distributed to Palestinians in the newly designated area of Rafah. The first distribution centers opened on Monday and began providing additional food supplies to residents of the Gaza Strip.

Officials close to the terrorist organization Hamas dismissed the development as a "show" and issued multiple warnings in the past 24 hours against the distribution mechanism. The UN and other international bodies have also criticized the Israeli-supported framework, claiming it will be ineffective.

At the same time, senior Hamas political bureau member abroad, Basem Naim, continued to assert that the group had accepted the cease-fire proposal. According to him, the outline would lead to an end to the war and the withdrawal of the IDF from Gaza. He said Hamas was now waiting for a response from Israel. Naim persisted in calling the proposal the "Witkoff offer," although that claim has been denied.

In a separate development Tuesday afternoon, an Israeli airstrike reportedly targeted a school in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City. Since the beginning of the war, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives have been using schools and hospitals as cover to hide among civilians and establish command centers for terrorist activities. Earlier this week, several terrorists were eliminated at another school compound in Gaza where they had set up a command post. Additional strikes were reported on terrorist targets in Khan Younis and other areas throughout the Gaza Strip.
