The advocacy group StopAntisemitism posted Saturday on its X account that a Jewish passenger aboard a flight operated by the US airline JetBlue, received the kosher meal he had ordered with the offensive word "Zionazi" scrawled on the packaging. The term is a combination of "Zionist" and "Nazi," and is widely recognized as a virulent antisemitic slur.
A photo shared by the group shows the meal with the handwritten message. StopAntisemitism wrote: "We are appalled to see a JetBlue passenger receive his kosher meal with the word 'Zionazi.' Whoever is responsible must be fired immediately, this feels like 1941, and Jews will not tolerate this hatred."
The post sparked outrage, with commenters urging Jews to boycott the airline.
So far, no official details have been released about the date or route of the flight where the incident occurred. JetBlue has yet to issue a statement.
