The name Tovah Feldshuh might not be familiar to everyone, but her face has appeared on screens large and small over the past five decades. The American actress, producer, and director has played roles including Judy Stein in "Kissing Jessica Stein," Golda Meir in multiple film and theater productions, Danielle Melnick in "Law & Order" for over a decade, Deanna Monroe in "The Walking Dead," and more.
In recent days, a video featuring her appeared on the Instagram account of Judaica brand "Atoof," which serves more as effective advocacy than product promotion.

"These days, I'm so proud to be categorized with these Jewish roles," Feldshuh says after providing a lengthy list of characters she's portrayed throughout her career. "For all of you who are unaware of the goodness and grace of the Jewish people – look at history. Be a mensch, as we say – and bring yourself peace. And shalom doesn't just mean peace and goodbye. It also means wholeness."

She continues: "Never again means it won't happen again, and I'm on this side of this horrific struggle, and for me, not speaking would be irresponsible."
