The Houthis have imposed a strict blackout on the fate of Houthi deputy prime minister Jalal al-Ruwaishan, "Chief of Staff" Mohammed Abd al-Ghamari, and the minister of defense in the terror regime, Mohammed al-Atefi, along with other ministers who were injured in Operation Lucky Drop on Thursday, the Yemeni website Defense Line reported, based on its sources.
Regarding al-Ruwaishan, the Yemeni site reported that four days have passed since the attack and no one has seen him. According to foreign reports, he is hospitalized in a medical center in Sanaa. He is one of the Houthi generals who received the title of "minister" in the government, although the ruling authority rests mainly in the hands of Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi. While written statements were published on behalf of al-Atefi and al-Ghamari, neither of them has appeared publicly.
According to the report, the Houthis imposed a blackout on the fate of several of the Houthi ministers and senior officials. Sources indicated that these individuals were injured in the attacks. Meanwhile, Houthi opponents are reporting approximately 20 killed and dozens injured. In contrast, at the funeral that took place on Monday in Sanaa, only the names of the Houthi prime minister and nine ministers were mentioned.
Among these fatalities, whose names were officially confirmed, are their prime minister Ahmed al-Rahawi and at least nine cabinet members: foreign minister Gamal Amer, communications minister Hisham Sharaf, justice minister Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah Ali, economy minister Mueen Abdulmalik Al-Mahqari, agriculture minister Radwan Ali al-Raba'i, electricity minister Ali Saif Hassan, culture and tourism minister Qassem Hussein al-Yaf'i, labor minister Samir Baja'lah, and sports minister Ahmed al-Mawlid.
