In an interview published by the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, activist Greta Thunberg and several other participants in the "Sumud" flotilla to the Gaza Strip — who were detained by the IDF — described what they called five days in "Israeli captivity" and claimed that Sweden's Foreign Ministry "abandoned them without assistance."
A photo released with the article shows Thunberg sitting on the floor, searching through a large red suitcase bearing the word "WHORE," a graphic drawing, the symbol of the hostages and the Israeli flag. "The bag was confiscated by the Israeli army from the boat and returned to me in this condition," Thunberg said.
