Communities hit on Oct. 7 face shortage of defense forces

Israel Hayom has learned that several communities invaded by Hamas on Oct. 7 now have fewer soldiers than the force levels set for their defense missions. Communities warn that defense forces are being steadily eroded amid difficulties recruiting and attaching reservists. IDF: "There is no reduction in authorized force levels, but rather an adjustment of staffing potential"
