After two decades of releasing chart-topping music, Taylor Swift has finally pinpointed her favorite composition. For The Win reports the singer shared this detail during a Wednesday interview on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

According to the outlet, Swift struggled to rank her top five songs but unhesitatingly named "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)" as her primary choice. This 10-minute track from "Red (Taylor's Version)" famously chronicles her split with Jake Gyllenhaal.

For The Win notes Swift also praised her recent album, "The Life of a Showgirl", and cited mirrorball as another beloved track.

Her fondness for "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)" previously led her to direct a short film for the song. The production, starring Dylan O'Brien and Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink, has accumulated over 109 million views.

While the full list remains pending, For The Win pivots to news that Swift hosted a New York City screening of her upcoming docuseries, "The End of an Era".

The artist celebrated the "The End of an Era" preview alongside her family, band, and dancers, the publication states.

The gathering occurred at the Walt Disney Company's 7 Hudson Square Theatre, with For The Win confirming the attendance of backing vocalists and relatives. This six-episode limited series investigates the creation of "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour." Fans will witness the conceptual development and the logistical operations of the historic tour.

For The Win highlights appearances by Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, Gracie Abrams, and Sabrina Carpenter, plus the touring crew. "The End of an Era" premieres December 12 on Disney+, releasing two chapters each week.

Launching simultaneously is the concert film "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show," captured in Vancouver. The report confirms it includes the entire "THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT" segment.

Finally, For The Win adds that ABC will air the first installment of "The End of an Era" and a 60-minute presentation on "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour"

It is now official: Israel will compete in Eurovision 2026 in Vienna. The decision was made a short time ago in a secret ballot held by the European Broadcasting Union's general assembly.

A total of 738 delegates voted in favor of changing the contest's voting rules and supporting a waiver on the voting issue. Another 264 delegates opposed the new rules and demanded a formal, separate vote on Israel's participation. One hundred twenty delegates abstained.

Following the vote, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Ireland and Spain carried out their threat and formally withdrew from the contest.

The withdrawal announcements by the Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS and Spain's RTVE sent shockwaves through the general assembly. The move raises serious questions about the number of participating countries and the stability of Eurovision 2026, which is meant to mark the contest's 70th anniversary. Iceland said it will issue an official announcement on Wednesday.

Spotify Wrapped 2025 drops with new features https://www.israelhayom.com/2025/12/03/spotify-wrapped-2025-new-features/ https://www.israelhayom.com/2025/12/03/spotify-wrapped-2025-new-features/#respond Wed, 03 Dec 2025 09:53:56 +0000 https://www.israelhayom.com/?p=1107855 Spotify Wrapped 2025 has been released, offering users a detailed, personalized look at their music consumption over the past year. The annual summary, which collects data from January 1 through mid-November, introduces several fresh elements. These include a "Listening Age" tool to judge your music tastes, and "Clubs" which groups listeners by similar preferences. Spotify's chief public affairs officer, Dustee Jenkins, noted that fan feedback "reminded us just how much this experience means to listeners," according to USA TODAY. This year also debuts the "Party" feature, allowing users to compare their metrics with up to nine friends.

As the end-of-year holidays draw near, Spotify is giving users a premature present to access, USA TODAY reported. The yearly user summary, Spotify Wrapped, became available on December 3, featuring many new components and refinements. Because the release allows individuals an intimate window into their unique consumption patterns, Wrapped has become a notable cultural phenomenon, with people quickly posting their statistics on social platforms and maybe wincing at the song they streamed one too many times.

The 2025 edition introduces several fresh tools, including Listening Age – which uses music preferences to estimate the user's age (a friendly suggestion: enjoying Springsteen may result in a 10-year addition) – and Clubs, which sorts listeners into categories based on their genre tastes, according to USA TODAY.

Spotify Wrapped 2025 top artists, songs and albums revealed

During a media presentation on December 2, the team responsible for creating Spotify Wrapped expressed optimism that subscribers would be pleased with the 2025 version, especially after receiving feedback in 2024 regarding the application of AI in developing the experience. Dustee Jenkins, Spotify's chief public affairs officer, responded positively to the critique, affirming that the comments "reminded us just how much this experience means to listeners." She stated that the current year's aesthetic is centered on traditional music sharing, embracing "the world of mixtape culture." Spotify executives, while demonstrating the new additions, emphasized that only one element is powered by AI, with the remainder of the report being meticulously developed for months by teams situated globally, USA TODAY detailed.

Finding your Wrapped stats

Are you trying to find your personalized metrics? Ensure your application is updated initially. Next, launch Spotify, and a Wrapped banner should appear that you can select to view your data.

Wrapped tracking duration

The data for Spotify Wrapped is calculated from your listening history spanning January 1 to around the middle of November.

New additions: Listening age, clubs, and more in 2025

If a significant part of your Wrapped was overlooked, relax! This year, subscribers can reduce the speed of their report and conveniently go back to previous sections. Listening age, which is calculated based on the release dates of the songs you listened to, is one of the new elements introduced this year, USA TODAY noted. The second novelty is Clubs, which places you into one of six distinct groups: Soft Hearts, Serotonin, Cosmic Stereo, Full Charge, Grit Collective or Cloud State Society. Once your musical tastes determine your category, you will also be informed of your role within that club and the specific artist that was the reason for your placement.

In the portion of the report dedicated to artists, listeners will face a brief challenge to identify the performer or band they listened to most. Afterward, preceding the ultimate announcement, an "artist sprint" feature, which uses actual month-by-month listening information, illustrates a user's leading contenders racing to the finish line before the victor is determined, according to the report.

Additionally, as with the previous year, users will receive a brief video message from a top artist and will be able to see their placement on the fan leaderboard. The much-requested Top Albums feature has been added, and a listener archive feature will highlight key occurrences in a user's experience, such as when they most often discovered or shared music. The archive is the sole function relying on AI, Spotify indicated.

The shared experience: Spotify wrapped party

Possibly the most discussed new component in this year's Wrapped is a feature that transforms the event from "a solo experience," into "a multiplayer celebration," stated Payman Kassaie, the director of brand and creative for Spotify, as per USA TODAY. Party, an interactive live feature, is similar to the start of the pandemic, when a like-named function from Netflix allowed people to stream shows together and engage in real-time discussion. Spotify's iteration lets users invite up to nine friends to contrast their listening statistics. The procedure will reveal who in the collective streamed the most music, who had the rarest song play, or who earned the title of "dinner table explainer" (the individual who listened to the greatest quantity of political podcasts).

Unprecedented box office success for Chayanne's five scheduled Arena de Buenos Aires concerts has prompted the Puerto Rican vocalist to add a sixth Argentine capital appearance at Estadio Vélez Sarsfield on March 13, 2026, La Viola reported. The expansion forms part of his Bailemos Otra Vez Tour 2026, with presale tickets available Tuesday, November 18 at noon and general admission access opening Thursday, November 20 at noon via entradauno.com platform. Previously confirmed Buenos Aires performances occur February 24, 25 and March 1, 4, 7 at Arena venue, with an additional Córdoba stop March 11 at Estadio Instituto, according to La Viola.

The touring production features selections from Chayanne's newest album combined with signature recordings spanning his 40-year career – including "Un siglo sin ti," "Y tú te vas," "Provócame," and "Atado a tu amor" – alongside recent releases "Bailando bachata," "Como tú y yo," and "Te amo y punto," La Viola noted. His global sales exceeding 50 million albums position him among artists with most Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart-toppers across four decades. Classic tracks "Torero" and "Dejaría Todo" will appear in performance repertoire alongside contemporary material.

("I have very beautiful memories of my tours in Argentina with the embrace of the people who dance and sing each one of my songs") He elaborated: "Se me hace muy simpático el acento de ustedes, las comidas, y agradezco todo el apoyo que me dieron a lo largo de mi carrera. Recuerdo que hice videos en la Argentina como 'Y tu te vas' y 'Torero', con este último seguramente muchos se enojaron porque cortamos el tráfico, (I find your accent very charming, the food, and I'm grateful for all the support you gave me throughout my career. I remember that I made videos in Argentina like 'Y tu te vas' and 'Torero', with the latter surely many people got angry because we cut off traffic")" according to La Viola.

The Nashville hospice facility death was confirmed by her representative, Dennis McNally. Before joining the Dead in 1971 alongside her husband Keith, Godchaux worked as a sought-after session vocalist in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, contributing backup vocals to classic hits including Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds" and Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman," according to Rolling Stone.

Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay, the vocalist whose work with the Grateful Dead throughout the 1970s and backup contributions to 1960s classics made her a music legend, died at 78. The singer passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, at a Nashville hospice facility following a "lengthy struggle with cancer," Rolling Stone reported, citing representative Dennis McNally's statement. "She was a sweet and warmly beautiful spirit, and all those who knew her are united in loss. The family requests privacy at this time of grieving," the statement said, concluding with Dead lyricist Robert Hunter's words: "May the four winds blow her safely home."

Joining the Grateful Dead in 1971 with her husband Keith on keyboards, Godchaux's vocals became essential to the band's defining 1970s period, appearing on Europe '72, Wake of the Flood, and Terrapin Station, plus legendary performances including Cornell '77 and the September 1978 Giza pyramid shows in Egypt, according to Rolling Stone. Prior to her Dead tenure, the Muscle Shoals, Alabama-based session singer contributed to Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman" and Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds," while also working with Duane Allman, Cher, Neil Diamond, and Boz Scaggs, the outlet noted.

The couple released one album together in 1975 before Keith's sudden death derailed plans for a new band in the early 1980s, Rolling Stone stated. Godchaux subsequently led groups named Donna Jean and the Tricksters and the Donna Jean Godchaux Band, releasing her final studio album with musician Jeff Mattson in 2014, according to the outlet.

Born Donna Jean Thatcher in Florence, Alabama, she began her career in nearby Muscle Shoals during the 1960s rock and soul renaissance, Rolling Stone reported. Her session work extended beyond Sledge and Cher to include R.B. Greaves' "Take a Letter Maria" and Diamond's "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show," plus recordings with Joe Tex, Dionne Warwick, and Ben E. King, the outlet noted.

Representative McNally's statement emphasized the vocalist's lasting impact on multiple generations of music fans, with her contributions spanning seven decades from Muscle Shoals sessions to Grateful Dead performances to her own band projects. The family has requested privacy during their grieving period following the Sunday hospice death in Nashville.

Her legacy encompasses both the intimate session work that shaped 1960s soul hits and the massive arena performances that defined the Grateful Dead's 1970s peak, with recordings from both periods continuing to influence contemporary artists. The vocalist's career trajectory from Alabama studios to Dead icon status represents a unique journey through American music history.

Three DJs canceled their performances at Amsterdam's De Lofft club in recent days after discovering the venue hosted parties commemorating those killed at the Nova Festival massacre. According to Dutch newspaper Telegraaf, the club owner said the cancellations occurred because the events were labeled as "Jewish."

The cancellations happened during the ADE music festival, one of the world's largest electronic music events, after a video from a "We Will Dance Again" party held at the venue earlier this year surfaced online. Following the controversy, club management announced that, for now, no more events "that could be interpreted as political" will be hosted at the venue.

The club owner said financial losses from the cancellations total approximately 100,000 euros ($106,000), adding that partygoers are the main victims. The owner said the published video "was edited in a biased manner and damaged the venue's reputation."

Event organizers for "We Will Dance Again" criticized the decision, calling it "surrender to threats." The organizers said, "A small group of people uses pressure and threats to dictate what's permitted and what's forbidden, and this is very disturbing." The organizers added that this represents a chilling recreation of patterns of Jewish exclusion from public spaces during dark periods in history. "First, they banned sitting on a bench, then they didn't allow entry to schools. These are things that happened to our parents and grandparents, and now we're seeing similar things happen again," the organizers said.

Belgian parliament member Sam van Rooy also addressed the incidents and warned, "If the cowardly policies continue, Amsterdam will eventually become Judenrein" – cleansed of Jews.

Following the release of Taylor Swift's latest album on Friday, her fanbase has engaged in a frenzy of speculation trying to identify the individual referenced in one particular track.

The song, titled Actually Romantic, is centered on a fellow, unnamed pop star, causing social media to explode with theories that it serves as a diss track aimed at Charli XCX, BBC News reports. During a cinema screening that accompanied the new album, Swift stated the track is "a love letter to someone who hates you," BBC News noted. The 35-year-old pop star refrained from naming the song's subject, but she did mockingly express her gratitude for their attention, saying, "It's flattering."

"Actually Romantic" holds the seventh spot on Swift's highly anticipated new album, The Life of A Showgirl. Within the lyrics, she refers to another singer who refers to Swift as a "boring Barbie" and composes music expressing intense dislike for her. On social media, fans have become convinced this track is a reaction to Charli XCX's song, Sympathy is a Knife, from her Brat album, a track the 33-year-old allegedly wrote regarding Swift, BBC News reported.

Charli XCX's album Brat, which was released in June 2024, earned her a second number 1 album in the UK, according to Getty Images. In that composition, Charli sings about experiencing insecurity regarding a woman who appears backstage at her then-boyfriend's concert. Charli XCX sings, "Don't know if it's real or if I'm spiralling. One voice tells me that they laugh, George says, "I'm just paranoid", and she adds the wish, "Fingers crossed behind my back. I hope they break up real quick".

Swift had a brief romantic relationship with Matty Healy, the frontman for the band The 1975; George Daniel, Charli's now-husband and then-boyfriend, is the drummer for that band. Swift expresses in her new track that it is "actually romantic" that the other pop star dedicates so much of their time to her. She sings that the antagonism "Sounded nasty but it feels like you're flirting with me," adding, "All the effort you've put in, it's actually romantic."

Neither of the artists has confirmed that their respective songs are about the other. Swift complimented Charli in an interview with New York Magazine just last year. Swift was quoted by New York Magazine saying, "I've been blown away by Charli's melodic sensibilities since I first heard 'Stay Away' in 2011," but the recently released track has prompted fans to speculate that the supposed conflict has reignited.

The launch event film for "The Life of a Showgirl" premiered in cinemas on Friday, featuring a mixture of behind-the-scenes footage, a music video, and explanations of the songs. In a concise opening to "Actually Romantic", Swift offered new clarity about the song's intent, stating it concerns the unexpected realization that a person is an integral part of someone else's narrative. Swift said, "There can be this moment where it's unveiled to you, through things that they do that are very overt," adding, "And, as I've gotten older, I've just started to be like, 'Oh my God, you did so much with this. It's flattering,'", BBC News reported. She further explained, "That is, wow, that is very, very sweet of you to think about me this much, even if it's negative. In my industry, attention is affection, and you've given me a whole lot of it."

Attendees at a Taylor Swift-only club night called "Swiftogeddon" in Clapham, south London, on Friday evening confessed they spent the entire day meticulously analyzing the new lyrics. Attending the event with her 21-year-old friend Scarlett was Anya, a 24-year-old from Brighton, who noted that she does not have to extensively decode the lyrics "because the internet does it for me," BBC News reported. Anya was convinced "Actually Romantic" was about Charli, expressing her connection to the song's words by telling BBC News, "It's universal, we've all had that feeling," but Tanya, 27, who is a huge Charli XCX fan, voiced her opinion that it was not "very fair or feminist" for Swift to seemingly criticize Charli. Tanya also stated, "I don't think she should've done it. But, hey, freedom of expression, I guess."

Fans have consistently attempted to decipher Swift's lyrics to pinpoint the subjects of her songs. This newest album proves no different. Besides the songs that are clearly dedicated to her fiancé, Travis Kelce, other tracks that have been widely speculated about online include Father Figure (thought to be about music executive Scott Borchetta), Cancelled! (possibly about the status of her friendship with Blake Lively), and Opalite (which some speculate is about Kelce's ex, Kayla Nicole). Swift, widely known for writing numerous break-up songs, has previously mentioned that she will never confirm the identities of the people her songs address.

Terror concerns and online backlash forced Robbie Williams to abandon his Istanbul concert finale, with Turkish authorities cancelling Tuesday's Ataköy Marina performance over public safety risks. The 51-year-old British singer apologized to supporters after Turkiye Today reported that organizing companies cited security threats and social media controversy branding him a "Zionist" despite his Turkish family ties through his wife, Ayda Field.

October 7 marked both the scheduled concert date and the second anniversary of Hamas' assault on Israel, which killed approximately 1,200 people – mostly civillians – and resulted in 251 hostages during the 2023 cross-border attack.

Williams told fans through social media that "City authorities have cancelled the show, in the interests of public safety. The last thing I would ever want to do is to jeopardise the safety of my fans – their safety and security come first. We were very excited to be playing Istanbul for the first time, and purposely chose the city as the final show of the Britpop tour. To end this epic run of dates in front of my Turkish fans was my dream, given the close connections my family have with this wonderful country. To everyone in Istanbul who wanted to join the 1.2 million people who have shared this phenomenal tour this year with us, I am deeply sorry. We were so looking forward to this show, but the decision to cancel it was beyond our control."

Thursday's Camden Dingwalls performance in London will showcase the singer's unreleased Britpop album alongside his 1997 debut Life Thru A Lens, representing his smallest ticketed show of the year. Williams' planned Istanbul finale would have concluded a tour that attracted 1.2 million attendees across London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Helsinki and Athens, before the cancellation intervened.

Taylor Alison Swift released her 12th studio album "The Life of a Showgirl" at midnight on October 3, 2025, following an announcement at 12:12 a.m. on August 12. The project reunites Swift with Swedish producer Max Martin and collaborator Shellback, who previously worked with artists including the Backstreet Boys and Kelly Clarkson, according to CNN. Martin and Shellback co-produced Swift's earlier hits "Bad Blood" and "Shake it Off," CNN noted, whose lyrics have become magical buzzwords for the popstars fandom.

The 12-track album runs approximately 42 minutes, blending pop anthems with narrative-driven ballads, CNN reported. During her appearance on fiancé Travis Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, Swift described every song as a "banger" representing "the record I've been wanting to make for a very long time," focusing on "everything that was going on behind the curtain" during her Eras Tour, according to CNN. She aimed to create "melodies that were so infectious that you're almost angry at it," CNN noted, parsing the lyrics and their hidden meaning.

"The Fate of Ophelia" lyrics: What do they mean?

Martin and Shellback's production on opening track. "The Fate of Ophelia" lyrics include sophisticated wordplay with Shakespeare allusions, CNN reported. The duo's seemingly effortless hit-making obscures the difficulty of crafting successful songs, according to CNN. All tracks received collaborative writing and production from Swift, Martin, and Shellback, creating a cohesive narrative from energetic beginning through the Sabrina Carpenter-featured title track, CNN noted.

Kelce's influence permeates the album's romantic content, with explicit tracks "Wood" and "Honey" featuring mature themes, CNN reported. "Wood" includes lyrics such as "his lovе was the key that opened my thighs" and mentions "new heights of manhood," eschewing subtlety entirely, according to CNN.

The complete track listing features "The Fate of Ophelia," "Elizabeth Taylor," "Opalite," "Father Figure," "Eldest Daughter," "Ruin The Friendship," "Actually Romantic," "Wi$h Li$t," "Wood," "CANCELLED!," "Honey," and the Carpenter collaboration "The Life of a Showgirl," CNN reported.

In The Graham Norton Show's latest episode, which was part of of the promotional campaign in the run to the release of the new album, the newly engaged Taylor Swift assured fans they won't miss her wedding announcement during a candid Graham Norton Show appearance where she confirmed album promotion precedes marriage planning, displaying her reported seven-figure engagement ring from NFL fiancé Travis Kelce while discussing The Life of a Showgirl release strategy.

Fans will be informed when Taylor Swift ties the knot, the superstar confirmed, noting wedding preparations remain on hold until promotional duties for her latest album conclude.

Promotional photographs released by the BBC captured the music icon looking radiant in a black velvet David Koma gown featuring a crystal-embroidered choker neckline as she occupied the British talk program's signature red sofa, according to the Daily Mail.

Front and center was her new engagement ring from Travis Kelce, who proposed this past August, with Swift displaying the diamond sparkler that allegedly set her NFL star fiancé back between $700,000 and $1,000,000the Daily Mail noted.

When Norton inquired about the wedding timeline, she responded: "You'll know. I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan," the Daily Mail reported.

Discussing her highly anticipated album "The Life of a Showgirl" in greater detail, Swift explained: "Last year on the tour I was physically exhausted – sick and worn down – so to spark me up I had the album as a secret passion project behind the scenes. It stopped me hitting a wall," according to the Daily Mail.

Singer Dua Lipa fired her longtime Jewish manager, David Levy, this week, after the latter signed a letter calling on Glastonbury Festival founders to cancel the performance of the pro-Palestinian Irish rap group "Kneecap," which is known for its extreme statements against Israel and the IDF.

The letter was sent by Levy and several other Jewish music industry figures to festival founder Michael Eavis and his daughter Emily. They argued that the band "Kneecap" encourages antisemitism and supports the Hezbollah organization. The letter was later leaked, exposing the representatives' actions regarding the artists they represent.

A music industry source claims that "Dua made sure through her people that David Levy wasn't working on her music anymore. She is very openly pro-Palestine and that doesn't align with David. She views him as being a supporter of Israel's war in Gaza, and the terrible treatment of the Palestinians and that was made very clear through the letter that he signed and sent to Michael Eavis."

The British singer is known for her anti-Israel positions. Among other things, in May 2024, she condemned Israel in an Instagram post to her 88 million followers, writing that it is committing genocide in Gaza.

In fact, the band Massive Attack from Bristol also stopped working with David Levy because of his positions. Now, Lipa remains with the same management company, "William Morris Endeavor," but is now represented by a different agent.
