The move signals Iran's persistent intentions to acquire nuclear capability.

In recent years, the phrase "The Iranians are playing chess, but we are playing backgammon" has become popular in Israel. However, whoever coined this phrase did not pay attention to one detail – Iran's intentions toward Israel and its understanding of the concept of time.

In Iran, time is not a critical or valued resource; therefore, a particular project – whether paving a road or striking Israel – can take decades and never be completed, which also affects Iran's own budget and creates enormous waste (see the water and electricity shortages and inflation).

This causes Iranian intentions to implement a certain plan to become perpetual, and this is true regarding their aspiration to destroy Israel. In the 12-day war, Israel dealt a severe blow (with US assistance) to Iran's nuclear program, but it appears that the intentions to return and achieve a deterrent nuclear capability have not left the minds of Iranian decision-makers. Both before the war and after it, there are generals of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps or parliamentary representatives who promise the achievement of nuclear capability that will bring about deterrence of Israel, so that it will not attack Iran and its allies, terrorist organizations, again.

They want to change the religious ruling

A researcher at Iran's Guardian Council – the body responsible for interpreting the constitution and filtering candidates for various elections in Iran, to ensure that no law or person threatens the authority of the leader – went further when he challenged the religious prohibition of Iranian leader Ali Khamenei on the issue of producing, possessing, or using nuclear weapons. In an article in the Council's journal, cleric Alireza Jafarzadeh brought about ten quotes from the Iranian leader from the past 15 years regarding the prohibition to produce nuclear weapons, possess, and even use them – but he found, in the Iranian way, a loophole in the matter of honoring the leader's religious ruling reciprocally.

Alireza claimed in his article that the West and Israel did not honor the leader's religious ruling, which was accepted as a kind of promise to the Obama administration ahead of the 2014-2015 nuclear agreement, and which was the legal basis on the Iranian side for the agreement. Therefore, in his opinion, the time has come for the Iranian regime not to honor the religious ruling itself. Hinting to the leader, he claims that the regime and the nuclear program should be released from the shackles of the religious ruling, and allow those involved to advance the program and achieve deterrent capability – that is, nuclear weapons, according to the verse in the Quran "Prepare for them force as much as you can so that the enemy will be deterred from you." Thus, according to him, specifically achieving nuclear weapons, and not necessarily a religious ruling that ensures non-advancement toward the weapon, will prevent the next war and bring a quieter balance to the entire Middle East.

Indeed, at first glance, this statement seems similar to other Iranian threats about renewed empowerment and even rehabilitation of the nuclear program to the point of achieving the weapon, but the constitutional innovation and the loophole on which the man bases his claim are something new and dangerous that could lead to renewed discussion among Iranian decision-makers. Khamenei, the elderly Iranian leader, may find himself there in the minority against Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members, eager to receive budgets to rehabilitate the nuclear program, alongside missile and terror programs (which already receive enormous budgets and are returning almost to the point before the war). This may even grant more power and authority to more radical forces to take control of additional power bases and dictate Iran's future miscalculation against Israel and the US.

The regime has not abandoned its intentions

Decision-makers, and particularly those managing contacts with the American administration on this issue, should pay attention to Iran's "constitutional nuclear crisis," and bring it to President Donald Trump's table. This is a clear example of the Iranian regime not abandoning its intentions of annihilation, even if the capabilities are not visible for the time being in the field. If this internal legitimization among the Iranians regarding a race to nuclear weapons and violation of their promise regarding the prohibition to achieve it succeeds, the day when they return to develop these capabilities with greater intensity will not be far off. As already stated, we have only three years to complete the mission against Iran once and for all. Therefore, we must remember their intentions and discuss them, and not wait again until the 90th minute, because time is somehow working in their favor.

US President Donald Trump delivered a speech Tuesday night during the official Hanukkah reception at the White House, warning of a sharp rise in antisemitism in the United States, weakening support for Israel in the halls of Congress, and the phenomenon of denying the Oct. 7 Hamas attack. In his remarks, Trump emphasized his commitment to the Jewish people and their security, and sent forceful messages both toward Hamas and toward anti-Israel political forces in the US.

The president opened with a reference to the antisemitic attack that occurred during Hanukkah in Sydney, saying it was "an antisemitic attack, exactly what it is," and added that "all nations must stand together against the forces of radical Islamic terror." According to him, the US "joins in mourning the dead and prays for the speedy recovery of the wounded."

Trump then moved to sharp criticism of the American political system, warning of a profound shift in the balance of power. "The Jewish and Israeli lobby used to be the strongest in Washington. That's no longer the case. Today you have to be very careful," he said. According to him, "You have a Congress, especially the House of Representatives, that is becoming antisemitic," and added that there are members of Congress "who don't like Israel. They hate Israel." Trump noted that such a phenomenon would have been "unthinkable 15 years ago."

The president linked the growing antisemitism to the denial of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack. "There are people who deny it even happened – just like they deny the Holocaust. This didn't happen many years ago; this happened now," he said. According to him, he himself was exposed to footage from the attack, and said, "I saw the tapes. I wish I hadn't seen them." Trump emphasized that his administration will not allow the spread of such phenomena, but called on Jews in the US to be vigilant.

During the event, Dr. Miriam Adelson, publisher of Israel Hayom, was invited to the stage. Trump noted that Adelson contributed to his campaign, "indirectly and directly, $250 million," and described her as "an amazing woman, with a wonderful husband, a man who loved Israel." Adelson, in turn, recalled that she came to the Knesset in October specifically "with a scooter... just to hear you, I wanted to hear you live." She later noted that she recently spoke with attorney Alan Dershowitz, who raised with her the legal thing about "four more years," referring to the possibility of a third term for President Trump.

The president then quipped about Adelson, suggesting she offered to give him "another $250 million" if he ran for a third term.

Later in his speech, Trump sent a clear threat to Hamas. "If Hamas plays games, they will be in big trouble," he said, emphasizing that his administration acted decisively to return all the hostages, both living and fallen, and responded to the call of the families of fallen hostages. According to him, this was an effort that even he thought was impossible, but was completed.

Toward the end, the president addressed the Jewish audience directly and said, "You are protected. You are a special people." He concluded with a symbolic message for the holiday. "The Hanukkah story reminds us that light will always triumph over darkness."

Earlier, during a Hanukkah reception at the White House, US President Donald Trump hosted the Neutra and Alexander families, the parents of late Captain Omer Neutra, killed while held hostage by Hamas, and Staff Sergeant Edan Alexander, who was released from Hamas captivity and re-enlisted in the IDF.

According to Ronen Neutra, Omer's father, "President Trump spoke about the release of the hostages with emphasis on the fallen and called us to the stage, where we emphasized that there is still a fallen hostage, Ran Gvili, who must be returned."

Full disclosure: The Adelson family owns the company that is the primary shareholder in Israel Hayom. Dr. Miriam Adelson is the publisher of Israel Hayom.

The discussions have triggered significant legal and humanitarian apprehensions within the State Department, with career officials pushing back against political appointees driving the effort. Possibilities include declaring UNRWA a "foreign terrorist organization," according to the sources.

Senior Trump administration figures have pursued substantial deliberations on levying terrorism-related sanctions against the UN Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA, two individuals with direct knowledge disclosed, triggering pronounced legal and humanitarian alarm within State Department ranks, according to Reuters.

UNRWA functions across Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria, delivering aid, schooling, medical services, social assistance, and housing to millions of Palestinians. The administration has accused the organization of Hamas ties, charges UNRWA has forcefully disputed.

Washington previously served as UNRWA's largest funder before halting contributions in January 2024 following Israeli claims that approximately a dozen UNRWA staff participated in the deadly October 7, 2023, Hamas assault that ignited the Gaza conflict. Secretary of State Marco Rubio subsequently charged in October that the agency had evolved into "a subsidiary of Hamas," which America designated a terrorist organization in 1997.

Current American deliberations have not clarified whether the focus encompasses the entire agency or targets specific UNRWA officials or operational segments, and authorities appear undecided on the precise sanctions instrument they would employ, according to Reuters.

Potential measures State Department figures have explored include designating UNRWA a "foreign terrorist organization (FTO)," the sources indicated, though whether that option – which would severely isolate UNRWA financially – remains actively under consideration is uncertain.

Imposing terrorism-based sanctions on UNRWA would constitute a remarkable and extraordinary step, given America's UN membership and role as host nation for the United Nations, which established the agency in 1949.

William Deere, who leads UNRWA's Washington office, stated the organization would be "disappointed" if American authorities were genuinely exploring an FTO designation. He termed such action "both unprecedented and unwarranted."

"Since January 2024, four independent entities have investigated UNRWA's neutrality including the US National Intelligence Council. While occurring at different times and from different perspectives, they have all come to the same conclusion: UNRWA is an indispensable, neutral, humanitarian actor," Deere stated.

A State Department official responding to inquiries called UNRWA a "corrupt organization with a proven track record of aiding and abetting terrorists," according to the report. "Everything is on the table," the official stated. "No final decisions have yet been made."

State and other agencies possess multiple sanctions mechanisms, generally enabling asset freezes and travel restrictions aimed at specific individuals and entities. Numerous vital American allies provide UNRWA funding, prompting questions whether foreign officials could face penalties for supporting an organization if Washington sanctions UNRWA or its personnel on terrorism grounds.

The UN has stated nine UNRWA employees may have participated in the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack and were fired, according to the report. A Hamas commander in Lebanon – killed by Israel in September – was also discovered to have held a UNRWA position.

Individuals directly familiar with the UNRWA deliberations, who requested anonymity to reveal confidential discussions, privately voiced multiple humanitarian and legal apprehensions given the organization's unique role assisting displaced Palestinians.

Political appointees at State installed since Trump's term began have generally championed the drive to impose terrorism sanctions on UNRWA, the sources stated, according to the report. Numerous career State officials – including lawyers who craft designation language – have resisted, those sources added, Reuters reported.

In recent weeks, potential sanctions have been discussed by officials in State's Counterterrorism Bureau and Policy Planning Staff members, an influential internal policymaking entity, one source stated.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spent years calling for UNRWA's dismantlement, accusing it of anti-Israeli incitemen. Since January 30, Israel has banned UNRWA operations on Israeli territory.

Syrian leadership expects Trump administration pressure on Israel to end escalation in southern Syria.

Three months of US-brokered negotiations between Israel and Syria reportedly culminated in a written security agreement ready for signing at the UN General Assembly in September. But according to new revelations, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu walked away from the deal at the eleventh hour, leaving the diplomatic breakthrough unrealized as regional tensions mount.

Sources disclosed to the Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat on Tuesday that US-mediated discussions between Damascus and Jerusalem in recent months produced "a written security agreement" slated for signing on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in September. Syria's de facto president, Ahmed al-Sharaa (also known as Abu Mohammad al-Julani), attended that assembly. Nevertheless, according to the sources, Netanyahu declined to sign the written accord.

The sources emphasized that conditions in southern Syria have become deeply troubling, with Damascus anticipating that Washington will leverage its influence over Israel to curtail the escalation in the region. The officials stated that the expectation is "to restore the status quo ante," given that "President Trump possesses the capability to persuade Israel to halt the escalation across southern Syria." Syrian leadership has insisted over the past year that Israel retreat from territories captured since December 2024, thereby honoring the Separation of Forces Agreement (the 1974 accord following the Yom Kippur war that established a UN-monitored zone on the Golan Heights).

Within this framework, senior Syrian officials were quoted in the report asserting that Israel has carried more than 1,000 air strikes in Syria, alongside more than 400 ground incursions in the southern provinces since December 2024, when al-Sharaa took office.

The Saudi newspaper further reported that Israeli-controlled territory in Syria since the Assad regime's collapse a year ago exceeds 460 square kilometers (178 square miles). The account alleged that nine military installations and observation posts have been erected within this area. This is in addition to Israel's seizure of the Mount Hermon summit, which provides surveillance capabilities over Syrian and Lebanese terrain.

Earlier, the Reuters news agency reported that multiple stringent US sanctions imposed during the Assad era could be revoked within weeks. Their removal has been incorporated into comprehensive defense policy legislation poised for passage in the US Congress in coming days. Since the Assad regime's downfall, Washington has already lifted a substantial portion of the sanctions. These measures are anticipated to bolster the Syrian economy under al-Sharaa's administration.

The Prime Minister's Office dismissed the report outright, saying: "Total fake news. There were contacts and meetings under US auspices, but matters never reached the point of agreements and understandings with Syria."

US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz will headline the first Israel Hayom summit in New York on Tuesday, December 2, and he won't be alone. His appearance comes just a week after he spearheaded the UN resolution to adopt the Trump plan for the future of Gaza and ahead of his historic visit to Israel.

Dozens of prominent figures are scheduled to attend the all-day event at the Hilton Midtown, bringing together the people behind the world's most dramatic news. The lineup includes current and former senior government officials, leading business executives, heads of major Jewish organizations, survivors of Hamas captivity, and families of the hostages.

The conference is positioned as one of the year's most significant international events, focusing squarely on the central relationship between Israel and the US, as well as the unique and growing challenges faced by the world's largest Jewish community outside of Israel.

Dr. Miriam Adelson is hosting the conference, which will feature former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senator John Fetterman, Israel's Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon, former US Ambassador David Friedman, former Ambassador and Minister Gilad Erdan, Minister Amichai Chikli, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, and many other leading figures from the diplomatic sphere.

Key leaders from the Jewish community, dedicated to reinforcing the bond between US Jews and Israel, will also be featured. These include Ron Lauder, Malcolm Hoenlein, Rabbi Ari Berman, Elan Carr, Sylvan Adams, and several others.

Shar-Shalom Gerbi, Director of the Education and Community Division at Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-JNF, who is also participating, stated, "KKL-JNF considers the bond between Israel and Diaspora Jewry to be a national mission. We work to strengthen national unity among the people through education, leadership, and deep exposure to the Israeli story. As a Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) who served dozens of days in Operation Swords of Iron and witnessed the profound strength and self-sacrifice of contemporary young Israelis, I am committed, alongside my colleagues at KKL-JNF, to empowering a young generation connected to values, Zionism, and engagement, ensuring the intergenerational connection remains vibrant, meaningful, and strengthening."

A major portion of the conference will be dedicated to Operation Swords of Iron, examining its many facets, with a dedicated, central chapter focusing on the hostages still held in Gaza.

The conference host, Yoav Limor, will lead an open interview with survivors of captivity, Guy Gilboa-Dalal and Evyatar David, who will share their personal testimonies on stage. Limor will also interview the families of captivity survivor Edan Alexander and the family of Omer Neutra, the fallen soldier abducted to Gaza, who was recently returned for burial in Israel.

The discussions will further explore the strategic considerations that shaped cooperation between Jerusalem and Washington throughout the war. Morgan Ortagus, who served as a representative of the American administration in the Middle East, will share revelations about the joint war rooms. Amos Hochstein will address the northern front, discussing whether Israel and Lebanon are moving toward or away from a resolution. Other panels will cover the future of the State of Israel post-war, the effect of escalating antisemitism on Jewish communities, and the media's role during a time of national security and social crisis.

The economic segments of the conference will highlight Jewish and Israeli growth, innovation, and entrepreneurial processes. For example, Ofra Strauss will speak with Yasmine Lukatz about maintaining business resilience during crises, while Michael Eisenberg will present The 11th Million Vision, his initiative to bring one million additional Jews to Israel to strengthen the nation's economic, technological, and social forces.

Yoel Zilberman, CEO and founder of Hashomer Hahadash organization, another participant, noted, "While Israel is learning, correcting, and actively rebuilding its security power even as it fights a war on seven fronts, Jewish communities worldwide have found themselves unprotected on the front line. Jews are confronting hatred on campuses, in the streets, and in synagogues. This reality mandates change, necessitating a move to establish a global Jewish security network – a 'guard for the Jewish people' – that will connect global communities, Israel, and state security bodies."

Other notable participants will include Avigdor Kahalani, Chairman of the Shazar Center, Shaul Shani, Chairman of the Rashi Foundation, Prof. Uriel Reichman, Founding President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reichman University, Itai Granek, Director General of the Ministry of Heritage, Michal Gerstler, Head of Communications and Government Relations at El Al, and many others.

The White House cited Hamas connections and Middle East destabilization as justification. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent must recommend chapters within 45 days. The designation permits asset freezing, intelligence operations and prosecution for material support.

An executive order signed Monday by President Donald Trump initiates the designation process for select Muslim Brotherhood chapters "as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists," The Washington Post reported.

The Sunni Islamist organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood emerged in Egypt in 1928 and temporarily secured political authority in the country in 2012, before being removed from power in a 2013 military overthrow.

The White House stated the designation aims to counter the organization's international network, which officials claim drives terrorism and destabilizing operations targeting American interests and regional allies throughout the Middle East. Documentation released alongside the directive points to relationships connecting Jordan's Muslim Brotherhood faction with Hamas, the organization behind the October 7, 2023, assault on Israel, along with additional purported associations with terrorist activities.

Financial assets held by these groups within the United States can now be targeted under the designation, while military intelligence collection on them becomes permissible, and individuals judged to have supplied "material support" to designated Muslim Brotherhood chapters face potential prosecution.

Within 45 days, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent must submit chapter recommendations for the terrorist classification, according to the directive. White House documentation indicated that branches operating in Lebanon, Egypt, and Jordan number among those under consideration for designation.

During his initial presidential term, the Trump administration explored designating the organization as a terrorist entity following the president's meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi, who assumed power through the 2013 military coup after removing his democratically elected predecessor, Mohamed Morsi, a prominent Muslim Brotherhood official. In 2013, Egypt classified the group as a terrorist organization, with multiple other Arab states following suit.

The current executive order differs from the first-term initiative by calling for the terrorist classification of individual Muslim Brotherhood chapters rather than the organization as a whole. While Muslim Brotherhood chapters maintain shared ideological principles, international organizational cohesion remains absent.

The Trump directive arrives one week following Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's parallel designation of the organization. Legislation introduced during the summer by a bipartisan coalition of lawmakers, including Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Jared Moskowitz, similarly sought to establish such a classification.

Incorporating the "pathway to Palestinian statehood" framework into the Security Council resolution continues President Donald Trump's 20-point plan and appears there with less assertive phrasing. The modification accompanied Washington-Jerusalem contacts, concluding with Israel removing its opposition – yet receiving compensation across multiple dimensions.

Before President Donald Trump unveiled and approved his plan in September, the president and his team presented their position to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer. The administration contended that remaining plan components – hostage repatriation, Hamas weapons dismantlement, and Gaza neutralization – would offset the "statehood pathway" provision against Israel threats. The Americans leveraged the Palestinian state argument to pressure Turkey and Qatar into demanding Hamas accept hostage release terms, Israel was informed at the time.

The administration previously guaranteed it wouldn't restrict Israel's military actions against Hamas should the organization breach the ceasefire. The US additionally pledged not to constrain Israel if Hamas declines disarmament and maintains weapons buildup while constituting a threat. Israel could restart the war for Hamas dismantlement, contingent on American coordination.

The US further committed to accepting an Israeli-determined schedule for subsequent pullbacks aligned with Israel's security perception. The sides also established that Israel's deployment in the Perimeter and Philadelphi Corridor wouldn't face temporal restrictions, contingent on security conditions.

The agreement's reemergence

The more compelling compensation relates to that prospective Palestinian state, should one materialize eventually. During exchanges between Trump adviser Jared Kushner, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump himself, Netanyahu, Dermer, and Ambassador Dr. Yechiel Leiter throughout Security Council resolution drafting phases, the administration specified that such a state's foundational principles would conform to the 2020 "Deal of the Century." Specifically – a state formed solely on partial West Bank territory resembling that blueprint – cantonal division, complete demilitarization, and additional provisions. Furthermore, advancement toward such statehood should transpire exclusively following extensive Palestinian Authority restructuring, de-radicalization, educational curriculum overhauls, and total termination of payments to Palestinian terrorists and their relatives. Encompassing all this – Palestinians would likewise announce renouncement of return rights and conclude refugee designation for Palestinians in Middle Eastern camps.

Concurrently, President Donald Trump verified Monday evening for the first time that the US would consent to F-35 aircraft sales to Saudi Arabia. Trump anticipates announcing this throughout his White House meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman today, where both will deliberate normalization with Israel.

US official affirms Saudi F-35 transaction won't jeopardize Israel

A US official informed Israel Hayom that marketing F-35 aircraft to Saudi Arabia wouldn't compromise Israel's security or its qualitative dominance over additional regional nations. The official stated that Trump's authorization of the aircraft sale followed a meticulous evaluation of comprehensive data and contingencies, convincing him that Saudi possession of these aircraft would strengthen regional security.

The official referenced Saudi military collaboration, encompassing the air force, with US Central Command CENTCOM, within an architecture consolidating multiple regional states, including Israel. Trump acknowledged Saudi Arabia as an ally, referencing simultaneously the Iran campaign, signifying he perceives the Saudis as components of the Israeli-American coalition against Iran.

Israel Hayom disclosed that the Saudi Air Force contributed to intercepting the drones that Iran deployed toward Israel throughout the June warfare.

In Israel, authorities stress that the sale transpired following a consultation in Jerusalem. The calculated assessment projects that aircraft marketed to Saudi Arabia would materialize approximately five years hence, representing models that omit the most sophisticated systems Israel's Air Force commands. Netanyahu previously agreed to sell such aircraft to the United Arab Emirates before signing the Abraham Accords five and a half years ago. That transaction hasn't yet materialized, but it is anticipated to be realized imminently.

The open question remaining is what Trump agreed to in exchange for approving the aircraft sale, and whether Israel is factored into that exchange. Specifically, whether Israel will take any measures to initiate normalization pathways with Saudi Arabia. The projection suggests Trump and bin Salman's conference will yield a declaration addressing this subject.

Hamas compensation

Nevertheless, not everyone participating in negotiations accepts the placation efforts. An Israeli diplomatic source stated that given the war's context, the fundamental concession to Palestinian statehood signifies Hamas and terrorism secured compensation for the October 7 atrocity, and unquestionably it will exploit this propagandistically. The source highlighted the Palestinian Authority's conduct as volatile and undependable, and despite apparent authority transition to Hussein al-Sheikh, the Palestinian Authority commands inadequate Palestinian constituency backing to validate and execute the arrangement.

Incidentally, the Yesh Atid party is flanking Netanyahu rightward here. Opposition Chairman Yair Lapid cautioned at the Knesset caucus advancing regional security that Netanyahu has reconnected the West Bank and Gaza, and Knesset Member Sharon Nir from his party asserted Palestinian state establishment would compensate terrorism.

Meanwhile, the European Union attempts incorporating itself into Gaza rehabilitation blueprints. Christophe Bigot, the EU's specialized envoy for the peace process, mentioned in a remote caucus conference dialogue that the EU should assume responsibility for Palestinian Authority transformations. An Israeli diplomatic source remarked Bigot's statements elicit ridicule, considering the EU represented the entity channeling billions toward Palestinians, substantial portions diverted toward terrorism promotion or malfeasance – absent European monitoring.

"East Gaza Province"

Following the Security Council ballot, initiatives establishing both entities – the multinational force and civilian administrative apparatus in the Gaza Strip – should accelerate. Yet the substantive challenge, the primary impediment, remains Hamas lodged like an obstruction. Hamas attempted provoking Arab resistance to the ballot and upon failing, solely Algeria, a Security Council participant, persisted. Hamas declines resuming negotiations on subsequent stages absent resolution for its operatives detained in Rafah tunnels, without Rafah crossing activation, and without amplifying provisions to volumes capable of replenishing its stockpiles and reinforcing its authority. Furthermore, multiple senior figures openly articulate disarmament opposition. The implication signifies that regardless of multinational force establishment formally, it won't penetrate the Gaza Strip, and despite civilian governance formation, it cannot govern regions housing Hamas.

Consequently, the Americans prioritize the civilian component initially and the security element subsequently – exclusively in Israeli-controlled territories. As we published in Israel Hayom, this encompasses establishing humanitarian sectors designated for hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals throughout reconstruction years, where they'll obtain necessary services and infrastructure. Physical reconstruction planning progresses, with intentions to commence practically, as referenced, solely in "East Gaza Province" areas, as designated, excluding Hamas territories.

Barron Trump, President Donald Trump's youngest son, is not simply another student pursuing dates at neighborhood bars or typical restaurants. Consistent with his position as a millionaire and presidential offspring, he meticulously plans every element and venue.

He recently participated in an exceptional romantic encounter. According to a source who communicated with Page Six, the event took place at Trump Tower in New York, and due to extraordinary security requirements, a complete floor in the building was closed for his benefit.

The young individual lives in Washington, where he commenced his academic program in early September at New York University's campus. The educational establishment provides courses in governmental affairs, financial studies, historical examination, and media coverage, with Barron pursuing business studies.

Based on student accounts, Barron also drew substantial attention at NYU's primary campus in New York during the previous year. "He was 'the guy,' many girls were interested in him," one student described. An additional source informed People that young Trump receives remarkable popularity among female students and is viewed as "tall and handsome."

Nevertheless, his social existence faces limitations because of security constraints. Sources familiar with his situation indicated he lacks ability to distribute his personal telephone number due to concerns about public disclosure, and consequently utilizes Xbox console messaging and the Discord platform for communicating with peers.

Barron emerges in public settings rarely. In March he was observed wearing a premium Rolex timepiece valued at approximately $50,000 when he entered Trump Tower accompanied by his mother Melania. Furthermore, a current Forbes analysis calculated his individual net worth at roughly $150 million resulting from investments in digital currencies.

The Trump administration intends to prevent FIFA from banning Israel's national soccer team before the 2026 World Cup, according to a report from Sky News. UN advisory experts this week urged the global and European soccer bodies to suspend all Israeli teams because of the war in Gaza. As Israel's men's team attempts to qualify for next year's World Cup in the US, Canada, and Mexico, FIFA has not yet responded to the UN rapporteurs. The US government, through Secretary of State Marco Rubio, has intervened directly to stop sanctions. A state department representative told Sky News, "We will absolutely work to fully stop any effort to attempt to ban Israel's national soccer team from the World Cup."

A FIFA investigation was launched last year regarding claims of discrimination by the Palestinian soccer Association against the Israeli association. FIFA is also investigating whether teams from Israeli settlements in the West Bank playing in Israeli competitions violate its rules. FIFA President Gianni Infantino has a close relationship with US President Donald Trump and regularly visits the White House, as reported by Sky News. Infantino, who was in New York for the UN General Assembly this week, referenced the war during a speech about a "divided world, in an aggressive world," after receiving an award.

Referencing the difficulty of sanctioning countries, Infantino said there are 80 ongoing conflicts. He added, "I suffer when I see children suffer. I cry when I see mothers crying, whether it's in Gaza... anywhere in the world." Sky News reported yesterday that European soccer officials are holding high-level talks about a possible ban, though no decision has been reached. Officials have debated why Russia remains banned for the war in Ukraine, yet Israel can still play in European competitions. UEFA, the European soccer federation where Israel plays and through which it would try to qualify for the tournament, previously said the conflicts started differently, with Russia's unprovoked invasion and Israel's response to the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks. However, a UN commission has since accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, which Israel denies, leading to UN advisers calling for Israeli teams to be expelled.

ABC pulled "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" from its broadcast schedule on Wednesday following the comedian's contentious remarks connecting Charlie Kirk's alleged assassin to Donald Trump's political movement, CNBC reported.

Trump praised the network's decision, which came after FCC Chair Brendan Carr suggested ABC's broadcasting credentials might be reviewed due to Kimmel's statements.

Before ABC's formal declaration, Nexstar Media Group announced its affiliated stations would substitute alternative programming "for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight's show," replacing Kimmel's content. Network representatives confirmed Wednesday that "'Jimmy Kimmel Live' will be pre-empted indefinitely," with industry sources telling CNBC the late-night personality has not faced termination.

Monday's opening monologue featured Kimmel suggesting Tyler Robinson, charged with fatally shooting Kirk September 10 at Utah Valley University, aligned with Trump's Make America Great Again ideology.

"The MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," Kimmel declared. "In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving," he added, criticizing the president's reaction to the murder: "This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend, this is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish."

Carr, Trump's FCC chair nominee, labeled Kimmel's statements "truly sick" during a Benny Johnson interview, claiming a "strong case" justified regulatory intervention against ABC and Disney.

"This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way," Carr warned Johnson. "These companies can find ways to take action on Kimmel, or there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.

"They have a license granted by us at the FCC, and that comes with it an obligation to operate in the public interest," Carr emphasized. The FCC initiated investigations into Disney and ABC's diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in March.

Kimmel joins other media personalities facing repercussions for Kirk assassination commentary. MSNBC dismissed political analyst Matthew Dowd last week over his broadcast remarks about the killing, citing that "hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions."

Washington Post columnist Karen Attiah said the newspaper terminated her employment after she identified "racial double standards" in social media reactions to Kirk's death. Trump recommended Wednesday that NBC cancel its late-night programming, including "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Myers."

"Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even [Stephen] Colbert, if that's possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!!" Trump continued.

Biden-nominated FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez responded to Carr's Johnson comments by tweeting, "An inexcusable act of political violence by one disturbed individual must never be exploited as justification for broader censorship and control."

Following ABC's program removal, Gomez posted, "Free expression is non-negotiable. It marks the line between freedom and oppression. We must defend it without compromise."

Entertainment industry unions criticized ABC and FCC actions. The Writers Guild of America West and East released a statement saying, "The right to speak our minds and to disagree with each other – to disturb, even – is at the very heart of what it means to be a free people.

"It is not to be denied. Not by violence, not by the abuse of governmental power, nor by acts of corporate cowardice," the guilds declared.

Nexstar stated it "strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets." FCC Chair Carr posted on X, "I want to thank Nexstar for doing the right thing. Local broadcasters have an obligation to serve the public interest.

"While this may be an unprecedented decision, it is important for broadcasters to push back on Disney programming that they determine falls short of community values. I hope that other broadcasters follow Nexstar's lead," Carr wrote.
