Robert Gates infamously said in 2014 that Joe Biden "has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades."
Make that five decades as the world watches Biden falter and fail on every move he makes. My lengthy article of Biden's wrong-headed issues related to Israel going back to Golda Meir and Menachem Begin was repeated on Fox News by Mark Levin.

Today, Gates' assessment was confirmed by former US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman. who accuses Biden of betraying Israel in favor of Hamas,
Ambassador Friedman rarely tweets, but wrote on 9 May; "Biden is siding with Hamas over Israel – there's no other way to say it. And to those who say he is protecting the Palestinian people, I call BS. Hamas is a far greater enemy of the Palestinians than is Israel. Hamas is the cause of their suffering. Palestinians will continue to suffer until Hamas is eradicated. And, as for the hostages held by Hamas (including Americans), this betrayal of Israel makes their release much more difficult."

Friedman closed by repeating Robert Gates' words; "Biden continues to fail on every tough foreign policy call. And it's all to gain the votes of self-hating Americans." Biden's two-state solution seems to be to win the states of Michigan and Minnesota to keep his radical voters by ditching Israel and gifting Hamas a victory in Gaza by surviving Israel's final assault in Rafah. Survival is all it takes for Hamas to claim victory in Gaza, and Biden is helping them to achieve that goal.

Biden's active step to achieve that goal is to prevent Israel from receiving the weapons and ammunition approved by Congress, which Biden signed off on, thereby turning this commitment into law. Now Biden is backtracking that law by stopping the supply of essential munitions to Israel. The effect of Biden's refusal will directly lead directly to the death of more Israeli soldiers forced to operate in the dense urban Hamas jungle in Rafah without the ammunition-starved artillery covering their ground operations and leaving them more exposed to the enemy.

This is the deadly effect of Biden's latest anti-Israel back-stabbing which my American contacts tell me is an impeachable offence. I doubt the Democrats would support a Republican move to impeach the President in an election year, but the gesture is important to highlight that a commitment to Israel's security remains sacrosanct in Congress. However, from an Israeli perspective, more votes will come Biden's way by affirmatively supporting Israel than selling us out to Hamas and Hamas supporters in America.

The condition of American Jewish leadership is in a state of disarray and, if this reflects the rank-and-file American Jew, then American Jewry is in deep trouble.

Follow Israel Hayom on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

At the most troubling time for Israel and for American Jews since the Yom Kippur War fifty years ago, we Israelis clearly see deep divisions have opened up between an American Jewry tied to traditional ethics and a profound support for Israel, and the progressive wing increasingly critical of Israel to the extent that they represent the views of those who oppose the Jewish State.

The leaders of the latter group have adopted a Judaism of "universal values" while Israelis are fighting an existential war against an enemy that has no notion of what their universal values represent.

This deep divide exploded following an apparently failed Zoom meeting between members of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations (American do love grand sounding names to add a faux prestige to a grouping of Jewish NGOs that are diametrically opposed to one another) and Jewish Democrat Senate Leader Chuck Schumer battered from the enormous kick back he received following his disgraceful call to Israelis to overthrow our democratically elected prime minister at a crucial stage of our existential war to eradicate the military capability of the Palestinian Hamas terror organization.

The fifty-member grouping is so utterly divided over Israel and basic Jewish values that they could not unite against Schumer's official remarks against Israel an its elected leader at a critical moment in Israeli history.

Added to that, Israel is deeply involved in repelling the danger across our northern border from Hezbollah.

Two leaders of the divided Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Harriet Schleifer and William Daroff, released a statement following the Schumer meeting which said, "The pro-Israel community and our membership continue to have deep reservations about Senator Schumer's speech on the Senate floor last week regarding impediments to peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

"We believe that at a time when Israel is fighting an existential war, on the embers of the 1200 innocents massacred on October 7, it is not a time for public criticism that serves only to empower the detractors of Israel, and which foster greater divisiveness, when unity is so desperately needed."

They were right both in the moral message but also in their description of the opposition within the greater American Jewish community.

The "detractors of Israel" included URJ, Ameinu, Americans for Peace Now, Association of Reform Zionists of America, the Central Conference of American Rabbis, Jewish Labour Committee, Women of Reform Judaism, HAIS, MERCAZ USA, all of whom had sympathy for Schumer's grotesque public statement welcoming his criticism of Benjamin Netanyahu.

They quickly turned on Daroff and Schleifer for being "divisive and unfair" in their harsh criticism of Schumer.

The question that needs to be asked of American Jews is if it is right for Jewish leaders, elected or self-imposed, to stand solidly with Israel at a time of great peril, or to support the leading Jew in American politics in demanding that Israel tears itself apart in the midst of a bloody and deadly war against an immediate existential enemy?

That remains the sole critical issue. It requires a simple answer. Yes, or no?

Apparently, the view of the majority of American Jewish leaders seem to support Schumer's vile notion to create a rift within Israeli society that will hand our enemy a pyrrhic victory.

I cannot believe that the 300,000 Israel supporters that gathered in Washington DC on 14 November chanting "Never Again!" in front of Senator Schumer are pleased by his dastardly remarks in the Senate four months later.

If Jewish leaders who gave comfort to Schumer have their way, their preferred leaders, Schumer and Biden, may take their next declared step against Israel if we press on with the final stage of our war against Hamas.

That would be the threatened drawback of weapon resupplies to Israel which would leave Israel denuded. Perhaps able to finish the job against Hamas, but unable to respond to the potential Doomsday rocket bombardment by Iran's proxy, Hezbollah, in Lebanon.

Iran, seeing Israel robbed of essential munition, would order Hezbollah to launch their 160,000 powerful and precise missiles against a defenseless Israel.

Subscribe to Israel Hayom's daily newsletter and never miss our top stories!

The Hamas rocket bombardment will make Hamas rocket attacks seem like a children's firework display.

This harsh scenario sees massive devastation to the coastal headland of Israel from Haifa down to Tel Aviv and a death rate that would dwarf the seventh of October.

If winning progressive votes comes above the survival of Israel something is dreadfully wrong in America, particularly among the leftist wing of American Jewry who seem to be willing to do everything possible to align themselves with Israel's lethal enemies.

Joe Biden is, once again, at loggerheads with Israel.

This has been brewing for decades. Biden infamously admitted telling Benjamin Netanyahu, "Bibi I love you, but I don't agree with a damn thing you say." Biden seems to have learned nothing from his personal contentious relationship with Israel going back decades. Biden's animus towards Israel has not been confined to Netanyahu.

Follow Israel Hayom on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

Biden's long and contentious relationship with Israel goes back to June 1982 when, as a senator, Biden threatened another Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin with holding back US aid to Israel which caused Begin to respond, "Don't threaten us with cutting off your aid. It will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid."

Senator Biden reportedly banged on the table with his fist, to which Begin retorted, "This desk is designed for writing, not for fists. Don't threaten us with slashing aid. Do you think that because the US lends us money it is entitled to impose on us what they think we must do? We are grateful for the assistance we have received, but we are not to be threatened. I am a proud Jew. Three thousand years of culture are behind me, and you will not frighten me with threats. Take note: we do not want a single soldier of yours to die for us." It seems Biden failed to learn from that experience.

As a fledgling senator, Biden made his first visit to Israel in 1972, just days before the Arab attack against Israel in the Yom Kippur War. Biden visited a worried Golda Meir having come from Egypt and, according to one official who was present at that meeting, Biden told a tense Israeli prime minister that Egypt was not preparing for war against the Jewish state because, as he put it, they accepted Israel's military superiority.

Biden was wrong. Forty days later, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan launched their war against the Jewish state on Judaism's holiest day. Biden had been deceived by the Arabs and brought a deceptive message to Israel. Some people are saying he is doing the same today.

As vice president in the final days of the Obama presidency, Biden played a key role in delivering the anti-Israel votes in the UN Security Council Resolution 2334 of December 23, 2016, which, in its deceptive language, cast Israel as illegally occupying land in1967 that had been illegally occupied by Jordan since the Arab war of 1948 on territory that had been granted to Israel by virtue of a majority vote for the UN Partition Plan Resolution 181 from 1947 and on which the State of Israel was established the following year.

This was Obama's stab in Israel's back as they were preparing to leave the White House after their defeat at the hands of Donald Trump. Obama had been upset by Prime Minister Netanyahu's vocal challenge to the Obama-Biden disastrous appeasement policy toward a nuclear-ambitious Iran. Biden's role in this duplicitous diplomatic move was delivering the votes for Obama who deliberately failed to apply the US veto to a damagingly anti-Israel bill they actively introduced.

When I heard Biden repeatedly say, immediately after the genocidal Palestinian Hamas horrors of October 7, that he had our backs, I preferred to reserve judgment.

Biden repeated that message when he said on October 18 that he had told Israel's War Cabinet, "We will continue to have Israel's back as you continue to defend your people." I wrote at that time that given Biden's character and two-face history, that Biden's support would be temporary based on his inconsistent relationship with Israel.

Now Biden has proved me right in my assessment as we see Biden playing to his electoral base as he heads toward an election in which he is trailing in the polls.

Biden's political career has centered on personal advancement. There has been no defining issue or matter of principle on which he has pinned his fate. He blows in the direction that will advance him personally and, right now, he needs votes. His pro-Palestinian base is screaming for an end of the war in support of Hamas. So now he is raising his voice and making threats to stop Israel from completing its mission in Gaza, the eradication of Hamas, and the release of our hostages, some of whom, Biden seems to have forgotten, are American.

Biden knows that Israel is setting up a safe zone for Gazans leaving Rafah. He knows that Israel is preparing a humanitarian corridor for them to travel safely. He knows that Israel will give the Gazans in Rafah early warning with instructions where to go to. In fact, many people are already leaving. But Biden fails to publicly support Israel's efforts. Instead, he warns against an Israeli invasion into Rafah as if these humanitarian steps are not being organized by us.

This is disingenuous. Biden's behavior is becoming erratic. In a hot mike moment, Biden is heard telling Anthony Blinken and Pete Buttigieg that, "I told him, Bibi, that you and I are going to have a 'Come to Jesus' meeting."

Recently, he maliciously imposed presidential executive orders against four Israelis who killed no one accusing them of being "violent Israeli settlers," while staying silent about the hundreds of Palestinians that have murdered thousands of Israelis, not counting the victims of 7/10.

US-Israel relations are not helped by a President expressing a Hamas-supporting narrative while inviting Benny Ganz to the White House.

This was a deliberate display of divisive politics; a malevolent act designed to split Israeli public opinion and bring down Israel's democratically elected government at a time when we have reached a critical stage in our war against a lethal enemy.

Israel expects the US administration fully supporting our justified efforts to destroy the Hamas regime. Instead, we see Chuck Schumer, the Democrat Senate leader, following Biden's lead. Biden and Schumer are hitting on Israel to pacify their radical base ahead of a crucial election.

The polls do not look good for Biden and Schumer, but that should not be the reason for them to stab us in the back. In fact, it will lose them even more votes given that 82% of Americans support Israel, according to a recent Harvard poll.

Both Biden and Schumer have warned they could stop vital arms supplies to Israel. This constitutes a treacherous and existential threat to Israel. If they go through with his threat, Israel may not be able to complete its mission in Gaza. Also, Israel will be unable to deal with the Hezbollah threat from Lebanon that is preventing a hundred thousand displaced residents from returning to their homes and businesses in the north of Israel.

Furthermore, Iran could use the opportunity of an under-supplied Israel to order their Lebanese Hezbollah proxy to unleash their massive arsenal of 160,000 powerful and precision-guided rockets that could destroy the coastal heartland of Israel in a blitzkrieg of epic and devastating proportions.

Israel needs to finish the job in Gaza, reject Biden's vindictive punishment of individual Israelis with his iniquitous Executive Orders, and resist his efforts to reward Hamas and Fatah with the creation of a "technocrat" Palestine state.

David Cameron, Britain's shameful Foreign Minister, is picking on Jews to create, in his mind, a level political playing field between Israel and Palestinians in his pursuit of a fifty-year-old failure known as the two-state non solution.

Cameron is slandering Jews living in Judea and Samaria out of all proportion. Inflating Israeli disturbances with unrelenting Palestinian murder of Jews.

Cameron picked on four Israelis. The media failed to examine what these Jews had done so wrong in Cameron's eyes.

Here are the facts,

Moshe Sharvit was accused of riding his quad bike to scare away Arab sheep that had wandered onto his land. Cameron called this "an egregious abuses of human rights." No one was injured. No one was killed. Not even the sheep.

Zvi Bar Yosef was accused of "intimidation and violence against local Palestinians at gunpoint" who were "having a picnic" on his land. No one was injured. No one was killed.

Eli Federman was accused of threatening Palestinian shepherds south of Hebron who had wandered onto his land. Recently, Federman was injured fighting in Gaza and has since returned to combat in Khan Younis. He is considered a hero in Israel. Cameron thinks of him as a terrorist. Cameron called them "extremist Israeli settlers threatening Palestinians" and said their behavior was "illegal and unacceptable."

These isolated cases are still in the Israeli courts. If proven guilty they will be sentenced. Until then, they remain innocent until proven otherwise. Yet Cameron uses these individuals to brand hundreds of thousands of Israelis who live in Judea & Samaria as somehow criminally evil. However, hundreds of Palestinians who have murdered thousands of Israelis are not subject to Cameron's, and Britain's, retribution. According to Cameron's political measuring stick, there is nothing "illegal and unacceptable" about Palestinians killing Jews.

I was one of the founders of the Netanya terror victims' group. I have the names of the Palestinian leaders who sent out their suicide bombers to murder my fellow citizens. Why are these people not on Cameron's list? Why instead is he smearing Jews? He is doing this to fall in line with the Biden Administration's recent push to create a Hamas-PLO Palestinian state. And, in order to balance the diplomatic playing field, they have to demonize Israel by targeting a random few Jews who are living where they don't want them to live. Cameron is shamefully doing this after he toured the burnt-out kibbutz homes in southern Israel where over a thousand Jews were slaughtered, tortured, raped, and are still held hostage by Palestinian mass murdering terrorists in Gaza.

Yet Cameron wants to rewards decades of murderous Palestinian terror and picks on four Jews for his retribution. For shame! Cameron fails to bring sanctions against Mahmoud Abbas who incites hatred against Jews and pays Palestinians to murder Jews with his Pay to Slay policy.

Where are Cameron's sanctions against the Hamas leaders, protected from justice by Qatar? There aren't any. Over a decade ago, in my book, Israel Reclaiming the Narrative, I dedicated a chapter to David Cameron who, as Britain's Prime Minister, traveled to Turkey and made the most incredibly anti-Israel speech.

He portrayed Gaza as being, in his words, a "prison camp." If Gaza was a prison camp, Hamas were the prison guards. Hamas controlled the hundreds of trucks that flowed into Gaza from Israel and today we see what they did with the billions of dollars in aid money. Cameron witnessed what Hamas did with the money that Britain donated to Gaza when he visited Kibbutz Beeri.

Today he is not punishing Hamas or the Fatah Palestinian Authority. Instead, he is victimizing four Jewish families living in their ancient land. In January, after personally hearing from Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that rushing to create an ill-advised Palestinian state in the middle of a war "would endanger the state of Israel," Cameron ignored Israel's vital concerns, returned to a Conservative meeting in the House of Commons, and confirmed that Britain with its allies "will look at the issue of recognizing a Palestinian state, including at the United Nations."

"This," he added, "would make this process irreversible."

Days later, on a February visit to Lebanon, Cameron doubled down by saying that the UK could recognize a Palestinian state even without Israel's approval.

The hypocrisy of this British Prime Minister, now Foreign Minister, is illustrated by the fact that he was and is a leading political figure of a country that can be seen as occupying parts of Ireland, Gibraltar claimed by Spain, the Falkland Islands claimed by Argentina, even Cyprus, and the Indian Ocean Chagos islands claimed by Mauritius as part of their nation.

Now he is turning against Israel trying to rip the Jewish State off its biblical heartland in favor of an unrepentant Palestinian terrorist state. Cameron proved a decade ago why he should not be Britain's Prime Minister.  Then he declared Turkey to be a friend of Israel. Give me a break! Referring back to that speech, Cameron made it after Turkey invaded, and still occupies Northern Cyprus. He spoke as Turkey was slaughtering the Kurds. Yet he was in Turkey to press for their inclusion into NATO.

Shockingly then, as Britain's Prime Minister, Cameron gave both Hamas and Turkey a free pass. Today, Israel is bearing the consequences of his dangerous misperceptions.

Cameron, both as Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, must be acutely aware of his own and Britain's abject hypocrisy.

Robert Gates once said of Biden that he was wrong on every foreign policy issue he touched.  I would say the same about David Cameron.

This man is a danger to Israel and should not be making British foreign policy.

Putting things in context.

It's easy for pundits in Western countries watching Israel fighting its way through Gaza in hot pursuit of Hamas to demand that Israel act with restraint and proportionality. But would American armchair pundits be talking a different language had their country been hit by terrorists targeting isolated communities of the southern states murdering 120,000 men, women, and babies, raping hundreds of young girls, and taking thousands as hostages back across the border into a Mexico operated by criminal terrorist cartels?

Follow Israel Hayom on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

Would they be yelling against the US military when an enemy-embedded media begins to quote Mexican death figures? I doubt it. Would they demand "proportionality,' or a ceasefire, while American hostages remain in cartel hands? I doubt it.

Would proportionality mean, misquoting Douglas Murray, that US troops have to kill precisely the same number of enemy as Mexican slaughters in America, rape precisely the same number of Mexican girls as their terrorists did, and drag exactly the same number of Mexican hostages back into America?

No, of course, it doesn't. This proportionality has never been applied in the history of warfare. So why is it trotted out only when Israel is forced to respond to obscene attacks against its civilians?

That is the real proportionality problem at play here. The world is unfair and completely disproportionate against Israel in our defensive wars against our enemies.

Those who favor the terrorists often use a lame excuse that the root cause of the Hamas assault was that a genocide was being carried out by Israel against the Palestinians of Gaza when precisely the opposite is true.

That Israel had literally dragged every last Jew out of Gaza even to the extent that it exhumed the bodies of every Israeli who had the audacity to die there and bring them into Israel for reburial.

Some genocide exacerbated by a rapid increase in the number of Arabs living in Gaza. According to inaccurate Palestinian figures, there are two million Arabs living in Gaza.

Zero Jews. Two million Arabs. Some genocide.

Another misconception, whose narrative is repeated ad nauseam throughout the war, is that there is a Hamas fighting against Israeli forces and there are two million Palestinian civilians, as if the two come from different planets.

No journalist worthy of his or her salt has bothered to research the familial, tribal, religious, political, symbiotic, bond between the population and Hamas.

How were hundreds of miles of sophisticated underground terror tunnel systems, with their thousand exits into schools, mosques, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and homes, built without anyone noticing, approving, or assisting in their execution?

If you believe they didn't know or objected I have a bridge to sell you, but it's underground in Gaza,

Who delivered the cement, who mixed it, who poured it, who labored in its construction for decades? Who worked in the weapon factories, who welded the casings for hundreds of thousands of rockets. Who worked in the storage facilities?  Who took the material orders? Who supplied and delivered the supplies? Who smuggled or manufactured the weapons, the ammunition, the explosive materials? Who turned them into bullets and bombs?

Did the estimated 40,000 armed and trained terrorist brigades, up and down the Hamas and Islamic Jihad command and control system, have no family or friends supporting them? Who fed them? Who knew exactly what they were doing and why?  Try two million people living in Gaza. Each complicit in the terror aims which they passionately supported.

And when they attacked in their thousands on 7 October were the Gazans ignorant or unaware? No, they were not.

What was it that one Gazan said to his father from somewhere in Israel? This is the transcript translated from Arabic into English and presented to the press.:

"Hi, Dad! I'm talking to you from Mefalsim. Open your WhatsApp now and you'll see all those I killed. Look how many I killed with my own hands! Your son killed Jews!"

Notice he said Jews -not Israelis.

His father replied, "May Allah protect you!"

Son. "Dad, I'm talking to you from a Jewish woman's phone.  I killed her and I killed her husband. I killed ten with my own hands! Dad! Ten, With my own hands. Ten! Their blood is on my hands. Put Mum on."

Mother.  "Oh, son. May Allah bless you!"

Son. "I swear, Mother, Ten with my own hands."

Mother. "May Allah bring you home safely."

Son to father.  "Dad, go back onto WhatsApp now. I want to do a live broadcast from Mefalsim."

Father. "I wish I was with you."

Son. "Mum. Your son is a hero."

Mother. "Kill! Kill! Kill them!"

Then his sister comes on the phone. "Alaa," he tells her, "I'm talking to you from a Jews' phone."

Alaa." You killed ten?"

Son. "Yes. I killed ten. I swear. Open my WhatsApp and see the dead."

This footage was collected from recordings, security cameras, Hamas terrorists' body cameras, and victims' phones, their social media accounts, and cellphone videos taken from terrorists, dead Israelis, or found at the scenes of the 7 October outrage.

It speaks to the knowledge, involvement, and encouragement of Gazans who support Hamas in two million ways.

Once you understand the momentum of the people, you understand that Hamas is the spiritual and political lifeblood of Palestinism. And you are awake to the misconception being fed to you that Hamas is one thing and Palestinians are something different.

As you can understand more clearly, by the choice of words used by them, that their cause is not a two-state peace, but a world without Jews.

This murderous Palestinian did not refer to his victims as Israelis. He called them Jews.

This is nothing new. It has been this way for a hundred years, and the evidence of that will be presented in another report but, for now, be aware that the drip, drip, drip of Jewish blood has come from different and competing Palestinian sources for decades, that it is not confined to an individual aberration or one radical sect, but is a collective hatred that has been allowed fester for far too long, ignored by people who should know better.

Much was made recently of the criminal army known as the Wagner Group. They do not conform to conventional military morals or comply with international military law.
They were, until they threatened to turn against him, Russian President Vladimir Putin's proxy army that operated more brutally, but with greater military success, than his conventional army. One thinks this is unique but consider this.

Consider Hezbollah as Iran's Wagner Group. Operating under no international constraints, they now control the country in which they are based, Lebanon. They also operate freely in Syria, a country led by a dictator who has mass murdered his own people and is in need of additional muscle. In his case Iran's Wagner Group – Hezbollah.

Follow Israel Hayom on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

Which brings us to the Palestinian Wagner Group – Hamas. Also sponsored by Iran, Hamas usurped power in the Gaza Strip by using unacceptable methods to kill many security personnel of the Palestinian Authority. Today the PA cannot step foot in Gaza which is totally controlled by the Palestinian Wagner Group. As with the Russian WG, Hamas bows to no one and obeys no one, certainly not the PA.

So much so that this Palestinian Wagner Group has imposed itself on the towns outside of the Gaza Strip that are officially supposed to be under the authority of the PA.
Truth be told, despite the political rivalry, there is a symbiotic relationship between the PA and Hamas. The Mahmoud Abbas-led Palestinian Authority undertakes the hate indoctrination of its people against Israel and Jews, and it is Hamas that executes the violence and terrorism.

It is strange, or maybe it isn't, that no country, no international organization, not the UN, those that profess an aim to create a peaceful solution between Israel and the Palestinians, make any demand, or impose any penalty on this Palestinian Wagner Group and return control of the Gaza Strip, and the other towns in which they operate, to the Palestinian Authority.

I did not begin to write this article with the intent of being a spokesman for, or heaven forbid, a PA advocate. I merely point out that, given the uncontrolled freedom of illicit armies operating in ways that conflict with internationally defined rules of war, this will inevitably lead to dark forces usurping power, with other dangerous forces following the illegal examples of the Wagner Group, Hezbollah, and Hamas, making the world a far more dangerous place.

The truly disgraceful United Nations gave a stage to Palestinian Authority's aging leader, Mahmoud Abbas, at a special anti-Israel UN event in praise of Nakba, a global Arab Yom Kippur that bemoans the fact that five Arab armies, hundreds of Palestinian terrorists, and thousands of Palestinian rockets, have been unable to destroy the Jewish State of Israel. At the podium of the United Nations in New York, the antisemitic Abbas compared Israel to Nazis when he said Israelis "lie just like Goebbels."

Actually, it was Abbas that lied to the UN and the world when he said that Israel prevented Muslims from access to the Al-Aqsa compound on the Temple Mount when, in fact, 200,000 Muslims prayed there daily during Ramadan.

The deranged Abbas lashed out against the US and UK saying they were responsible for the displacement "of a million Palestinians during the 1948 war," and claiming "they bear political and ethical responsibility directly for the Nakba of the Palestinian people" by deciding to establish another entity in his "historic homeland." They did it, he said, "for their own colonial goals and objectives."

He failed to mention that the world body at the time also created the Muslim countries of Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia, as well as protecting Egypt. The outlandish Abbas also made the breathtaking claim that the Hebrew Bible, "including the Torah", proves that "the Palestinians were descendants of the biblical Canaanites." The rambling Palestinian leader contradicted himself several times. Despite his very public antisemitic rantings and incitement against Jews "and "their dirty feet," he falsely claimed at the UN that he was not against Jews.

This, despite the fact that there still exists a Palestinian law that any Arab who sells his land to a Jew faces the death penalty. But the biggest contradiction of all was when he mumbled about being open for talks with Israel about a two-state solution but then conditioned that by demanding Palestinian rights to both land within sovereign Israel as well as in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and also demanding the right of return of "Palestinian refugees" to land within the pre-1967 lines. In other words, a no-Israel solution.

Abbas ended his speech with the demand that the United Nations suspend Israel's membership at the UN. I wonder what the result of such a vote would have been, given the absence of the relatively normal countries that removed themselves from the insulting UN event? I guess that Israel would not be a UN member today.

The next time you hear or read woeful politicians and media moan about Israeli "oppression" against the poor Palestinians, show them the picture of Lucy, Rena, and Maia Dee, the beautiful and tragic faces of what is infecting the Palestinian condition. It is the murderous hatred of Jews that targets young girls and women like Lucy and her two daughters. It is this, and this alone, that is at the poisonous heart of the Palestinian problem.

For over fifty years, the Palestinian narrative has never been about a state living in peace alongside Israel. Anything that Israel does is a response to this murderous Jew hatred in the protection of its people. It is time to stop protecting the malevolent Palestinian leaders by decision and opinion-makers who should know better.

The statement by the British government was typical of the unspoken bias of foreign governments when Jews are murdered. Their statement read that they were "saddened to hear about the death of [unnamed] British-Israeli citizens, and called upon all parties to de-escalate tensions." Just deaths. Not murder. No mention of Palestinians and their umbilical lust for Jewish blood. Lucy, Maia, and Rena were not slaughtered in a horrific death by Palestinian gunmen. The three Dee women simply "died," according to the British government.

Let's hear less vacuous talk of "both sides must do more to reduce tensions," and hear more about governments and media withdrawing support from the Palestinians for their ongoing unspeakable crimes of killing Jews.

As we approach the day that honors both fallen soldiers and civilian terror victims, we must emphasize that approximately 1,500 Jews have been slaughtered by Palestinian Arabs since the year 2000. The time has come for the international community to remove the blinkers from their lying eyes and force them to begin to reframe their policies based on the bloody facts on the ground – because those facts are soaked in innocent Jewish blood.

And let's start by showing them the picture of Lucy and her two lovely daughters.

How short or long is Interim? It was reported that Private Sean Rooney was killed, and another Irish soldier seriously wounded, when their military vehicle came under fire by "a hostile mob."

This was repeated by Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney who said their vehicle "got surrounded by a hostile mob - I think that's the only way you could describe them."

No, Mr. Coveney. That is not the only way to describe them. Try Hezbollah operatives or Hezbollah supporters.

Which other Lebanese civilians would object to a UN force keeping law and order, or ensuring that Iranian missiles and explosives are not stored in their homes, schools, and mosques for future use against Israel - if that is what UNIFIL actually does?

Try replacing "a hostile mob" with Hezbollah and cut the diplomatic anonymity, Mr. Coveney. The grieving Rooney family will not have closure or justice until you provide them with the truth.

The 2004 UNSC Resolution 1559 called for the disarmament of all armed militias in Lebanon. Isn't Hezbollah an armed militia in Lebanon?

UNIFIL was formed as a peacekeeping UN force in Lebanon to enforce United Nations requirements. It has persistently failed over an almost 20-year period to fulfill any of its missions.

UNSC Resolution 1701 of 2006 states that it prohibits all armed militias from operating anywhere in Lebanon. So, what have they done to disarm Hezbollah, and why are there no-go zones in which UNIFIL personnel are forbidden to enter in South Lebanon?

If the United Nations Security Council is punishing Hezbollah infringements of US resolutions, what have been the punishments?

Where is the UN punishment over the death of UNIFIL Private Sean Rooney?

Where is the UNSC punishment of Hezbollah for the murder of 2 Israeli soldiers killed inside Israel by a Hezbollah missile strike from Southern Lebanon in 2015?

Hezbollah flagrantly violates the UNSC arms embargo.

Israel estimates that Hezbollah now possess more than 150,000 rockets and missiles mainly stored in Southern Lebanon for future use against Israel.

Has UNIFIL provided the UN Security Council with the numbers and the locations where they are stored? Israel would like to know. We would like to see if UN records match ours.

This is, after all, what these resolutions and the creation of UNIFIL in Lebanon was all about. It is obvious that UNIFIL has been a heavy waste of time, money, and manpower. It has not fulfilled its mission, and now its soldiers are dying. It is an impotent body that has done little to prevent an inevitable future conflict.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid has given away the farm, or more precisely, Israel's maritime territory, and what did the country receive in return? A slap in the face as Lebanon took everything that was gifted to them and moved the goalposts by disagreeing to prior agreed Israeli security and compensation requirements.

In response, Defense Minister Benny Ganz, who had also agreed to the terms of a bad deal, put the Israeli Defense Forces on high alert. Now Israeli decision-makers are preparing various potential military scenarios, over renewed tensions with Lebanon, with both defensive and offensive operations.

One of the altered Lebanese clauses demands that Total Energy – the French energy conglomerate that holds the license for both Israel's Karish rig and Lebanon's future drilling rig – buy a portion of the reservoir in the waters that Israel was about to surrender to Lebanon.

This is a Lebanese admission that the disputed waters are indeed, at least partly, Israeli sovereign maritime territory which Lapid and Ganz are about to gift to them in return for a low percentage of royalties if, or when, Lebanon is capable of drilling from a future rig.

Israel has informed the United States, acting as liaison negotiators in a deal, and whom many see as favoring Lebanon over Israel, that it opposes the Lebanese changes in what is considered by many in the country as an already bad deal.

United States officials, and perhaps people at the top of Israel's echelon, seem not to comprehend or are ignoring who are the decision-makers in Lebanon. They primarily include the leader of the Lebanese Parliament and the religious Iranian proxy Hezbollah who are Lebanese twins, joined at the hip by their Shiite connections.

Everyone is familiar with Hassan Nasrallah, the turbaned Hezbollah leader. But not many people are aware of the intimate link between this Iranian-backed terrorist firebrand and the refined, suited, elderly stateman, Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament since 1992 and, equally significantly, the head of the Lebanese Shiite Amal Movement.

One of the shocking revelations made at the recent ICT World Summit on Counter-Terrorism at Herzliya was the depth and breadth of Hezbollah's money laundering and business enterprises in South America, and how their expanding family and clan ties strengthen the spread of their legitimate and criminal enterprises, including how they have certain corrupt leaders of several Central and South American countries in their pocket.

To suggest that Hezbollah is a separate part of Lebanon's cultural and political life is to misunderstand Lebanon. To suggest that Israel, through a US proxy, is negotiating with the Lebanese government, and not with Hassan Nasrallah, is a fatal mistake.

To say that Hezbollah will not be a recipient of future natural gas revenue is delusional. I repeat, they are joined at the hip with Amal, and Amal and Hezbollah control what happens in Lebanon.

An unconsidered result of Israel's surrender of its legitimate maritime rights to Lebanon is what will happen if the quantity or quality of the gas is not substantially profitable, and no drilling takes place. This means that Israel will have gifted Lebanon its maritime territory for nothing because there will be no compensation based on energy production to be paid to Israel.

This deal will not be a water for peace deal and the Israeli Karish rig will be even more exposed to Hezbollah aggression on maritime waters gifted freely to Lebanon much closer to the Israeli rig than before. And to think that, when the terms of this deal were being finalized, Ganz said that "this deal harms Iran's interests."

How wrong can he be? If there is sufficient gas to make a Lebanese rig profitable then Amal-Hezbollah will be major recipient of the profits. And until or instead of drilling, Lebanon's new Mediterranean territory will be infinitely closer to Israel's Karish gas rig.

Although Yair Lapid said there was no need for this troublesome deal to be authorized by the Knesset hopefully saner voices will be heard. Israeli law only required that international agreements be submitted to the Knesset for review, not a vote of approval. However, historically, agreements regarding territorial changes have been brought to the Knesset legislature for a vote.

If this deal translates to Lapid/Ganz gifting strategic expanses of the Mediterranean to Amal and Hezbollah, and still being treated like an unrecognized pariah enemy, it is the equivalent of these Israeli leaders gifting huge chunks of Judea & Samaria to Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas, our land version of Amal and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

This is the reason that the country will be in an uproar if they push this deal forward without the issue being brought to the Knesset for a debate and a vote.

With an upcoming election in November, Israel is sailing into stormy waters.
