Sky News Australia host Rowan Dean unleashed a withering critique Sunday against pro-Palestinian protesters throughout Australia, condemning demonstrators who participated in mass anti-Israel rallies following the release of harrowing proof-of-life footage showing kidnapped Israeli Evyatar David.

"Unless you are holding out banners for this man, Evyatar David, this is who you are supporting if you march on the bridge today, you are supporting the people who do it," Dean declared during his program, referencing Hamas terrorists who have held Evyatar David in brutal conditions for 667 days, while the video revealed the hostage's skeletal appearance.

"Hang your heads in shame, absolutely disgusting," Dean pressed forward. "You hypocrites, you say you're doing this for humanity, where is your humanity for this man? Where is your humanity, you disgusting grubs?"

Dean extended his condemnation to include political figures, stating, "If you're a politician and you're walking out there, don't ever expect a vote from any sensible Australian ever again," he concluded.

Tens of thousands marched on Sunday in a major anti-Israel demonstration in Sydney, Australia, under the banner of the "Walk for Humanity." The protest took place amid growing domestic pressure on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to follow the UK and Canada in recognizing a Palestinian state. Alongside the growing anti-Israel sentiment, Australia's Jewish community has been hit by a sharp surge in antisemitic incidents since the start of the war.

This is not the first time criticism has been directed at the Australian people regarding their stance in the war against Hamas on this platform. Former Sky News presenter Erin Molan expressed her pro-Israeli position many times, and even criticized the United Nations and accused it of hypocrisy." Her strong pro-Israeli stance led many to think that her dismissal was related to this fact.

In a nearly 10-minute video posted on X, Erin Molan addressed her exit from Sky News Australia and made it clear she has no intentions of stepping back from public commentary. Her pledge to continue speaking out suggests that while her platform may change, her message will remain consistent.

She acknowledged her deep connection to her former role at Sky News, where she said the show "became my purpose, my passion, and, aside from my little girl, basically, my entire existence."

The journalist, known for her forthright views, particularly regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, outlined what she sees as three critical factors enabling global crises: "Evil requires three things to not only survive, but to thrive, in my opinion. One, weak leadership. Two, useful idiots. And three, a silent majority."

Addressing criticism of her stance on international issues, particularly her support for Israel, Molan emphasized her personal investment despite no direct connection to the region: "I'm a single mom with a six-year-old. I'm not from Israel. I'm not Jewish. I'm not American. I have no skin in this game. But you see, I do. And that's the problem. We all do."

She particularly criticized what she perceives as inconsistencies in public outrage: "The anger over a lewd comment directed at a lady. Cancel him. Cancel him. But the deafening silence when multiple women in Israel are killed, raped and kidnapped. Context? Where's the proof?" She also challenged what she termed as "the demise of the feminist, those self-proclaimed warriors for women who fill their Instagram feeds with Marilyn Monroe quotes about knowing their worth, but refuse to even acknowledge the suffering of any female who does not fit into their terrifyingly naive narrative."

Despite revealing she has received alternative job offers that would provide "fewer death threats, more stability, a simpler life," Molan remained steadfast in her commitment to speaking out, citing the influence of her late father: "My beautiful dad is a senator and major general, who we lost to cancer last year. He taught me to stand up for what is right. Always. Despite the often heavy cost."

The broadcaster shared evidence of her impact, noting: "My segments are shared and viewed millions of times online every single week. You all tell me they make a difference." She recounted a particularly moving encounter: "A woman in Jakarta stopped me at a hotel when I was there recently, a Muslim woman, and she thanked me. She told me that terrorism hurts them as much as it does anyone else, maybe more."

Molan expressed particular concern about what she sees as misplaced empathy in Western youth: "I care too much about exposing the unfathomable support for evil amongst young people in the West, who are so deluded regarding where their empathy belongs. It is terrifying."

In her concluding remarks, Molan reaffirmed her commitment to continuing her commentary: "Unfortunately for me and my somewhat frail nervous system right now, but it's getting better, it matters too much to stop. So I won't... As I said, I'm only just getting started. So watch this space."
