"Good evening Tel Aviv, I told you we'd be back!" Jon Bon Jovi said as he took to the stage on Thursday at Tel Aviv's Park Hayarkon.

Greeted by roaring applause from over 45,000 fans who welcomed New Jersey's classic rock sensation Bon Jovi back to Israel, the iconic band delivered all of its greatest hits in an electric show that closed their two-month world tour.

On the stage with the lead singer were band members David Bryan (keyboards), Tico Torres (drums), and Phil X, the lead guitarist who has been with the band since founding member Richie Sambora left in 2016.

Fans were treated to a longer set-list than in the band's 2015 show in Israel, and the mix of newer songs and the classics that made Bon Jovi a staple of late 1980s-early 1990s was more than enough to whip the crowd into a frenzy.

About halfway through the concert, Bon Jovi sang, "We Don't Run", which he reminded the crowd that he dedicated to Israel when it came out in 2015.

"This one is for the incredible people of Israel, for their strength, for their love, this one is for them," he said.

Produced by Live Nation Israel, the two-and-a-half-hour sold-out show began with "This House is Not for Sale," which is also the name of the tour that has reportedly already earned over $43 million.

The  57-year-old singer showed his Israeli fan that even after 35 years in the music industry, he still had a lot to give. As the show drew to its conclusion, tens of thousands of people clapped and sang in unison "Lay Your Hands on Me" with a muscular, hairy arm emerging from the crowd to clasp hands with the lead singer.
