A Lebanese man and his daughter with possible connections to the Hezbollah terrorist organization were shot dead in their car in central Tehran, Iranian news agencies reported on Saturday.
Dr. Habib Dawoud, 58, and his daughter Maryam, 27, were shot in their vehicle on Friday night by a man on a motorcycle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The murder took place near the house of Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the former Deputy Commander of Iraq's Iran-backed Popular Mobilization Forces, who was killed on January 3 when US missiles targeted and killed former Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.
A police official told Iran's Mehr news agency that Dawoud and his daughter were "shot four times from the driver's side."
The source said Dawoud was a history teacher.
As of Sunday morning, the nature of Dawoud's role with Hezbollah and what he was doing in Tehran were still unclear.
