The military on Tuesday ordered an end to the special high alert on which IDF troops were placed along the northern border in wake of recent tensions with the Lebanon-based Hezbollah terrorist group.
The special situation on the border was in place for three weeks, the IDF said.

"Following a security situation assessment, some of the restrictions placed on the movement of troops in the area as well as the scope of their deployment have been changed. Civilian movement remains unhindered," the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said in a statement.
