An online memorial ceremony, the first of its kind in Israel, is scheduled to take place next week to honor Israel's ninth president, Shimon Peres.
In addition to political leaders and people who worked with Peres, some 100,000 schoolchildren are slated to take part in the ceremony. President Reuven Rivlin, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, former President of France Nicolas Sarkozy, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, and singer Barbra Streisand are all scheduled to speak.
