The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, one of Israel's leading think tanks, is pleased to announce that Jennifer Roskies has been appointed as its Director General (CEO), effective September 1, 2020. Ms. Roskies has served as Chief of Staff to the president of the Jerusalem Center, Ambassador Dore Gold, and involved in all Jerusalem Center activities and projects.
Roskies grew up in Montreal. She earned her BA at Brandeis University, her Master's degree at Harvard University, and pursued doctoral studies at Bar-Ilan University. She joined Amb. Gold during his term as director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, serving as his senior Adviser. She has also worked at institutions including the Hebrew University, IDC Herzliya, and the Mandel Foundation.

On this occasion, the Jerusalem Center bids farewell to Chaya Herskovic after 33 years of exceptional service. Herskovic joined the Jerusalem Center in 1988 as its project director, and following the retirement of Zvi Marom in 2004, she was appointed director general.
Dr. Dore Gold, president of the Jerusalem Center, stated, "Jennifer was an indispensable asset when I was director general of the MFA. I look forward to working with her at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and taking it to new heights in the future."
