Lebanese security forces killed at least 13 Islamic State group-affiliated jihadists during a heavy exchange of fire on Saturday in northeastern Lebanon.
The incident began when the security forces raided a house in the Wadi Khaled area, close to the Syrian border.

Three members of the Lebanese forces were injured in the clash.
According to the unnamed sources, the armed group consists of Syrian and Lebanese nationals and is linked to the militant Khaled al-Talawi who was killed earlier this month in a gunfire exchange with security forces.
