The Israel Police issued 3,922 fines to Israelis who violated coronavirus lockdown directives during Yom Kippur.

Some 2,789 fines were issued to those who left their homes for non-sanctioned activities, 968 people were fined for not wearing a mask in public, 44 fines were issued to verified corona patients who violated quarantine, and 60 people were fined for opening businesses that were supposed to be shuttered.
