The Jerusalem District Prosecutor issued the first indictments against participants in the ongoing protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Activist Gonen Ben Itzhak, a key figure in the movement, was indicted on a count of interfering with a police officer carrying out their duties and for participating in a gathering that violated the COVID public health regulations. Protester Bar Binyamin was indicted on counts of aggravated assault of a police officer and participating in illegal gatherings.
