Legendary Britain's Got Talent and American Idol judge Simon Cowell will be serving as a guest judge in the next season of X-Factor on Channel 13 in Israel. It is the first time Cowell will judge in a country other than the US or Britain.

Cowell is one of the most influential figures in the entertainment industry. He is the creator of some of the most successful television formats in the world, including the X Factor and Got Talent shows, which have been sold around the world.
Cowell has produced and promoted multiple successful singers and bands, including One Direction, Susan Boyle, Camila Cabello, Little Mix, Fifth Harmony, and Leona Lewis.
Channel 13 reported that Cowell coming to judge in Israel is a "tremendous achievement for Israeli television. Cowell's participation in the Israeli format provides Israeli contestants with an opportunity for international exposure."
"Over the years, I have encountered amazing talents all over the world," said Cowell. "I can't wait to see what Israel has to offer."
