Magen David Adom emergency services has lunched a nationwide blood drive, citing a sever shortage of available type-O blood.

MDA explained that the shortage has been caused by the fact that fewer blood drives have been held in recent months over the coronavirus pandemic.
Israel's chief emergency medicine organization noted that every blood donation saves, on average, three lives.
