On the heels of a $47 million fundraising round, Tel Aviv-based identity protection startup Identiq has made Fast Company's list of Most Innovative Companies for 2021, Identiq announced this week.

Identiq's proprietary technology compares a new user's details against identities already trusted by other network members, offering global organizations an alternative to third-party data providers, which tend to charge a high amount for stale information on user identities.
Identiq has also been awarded the No. 2 slot in the "Most Promising Fintech" list published by Citi, Discount Bank, and Visa.
