A destructive determination

Netanyahu's rivals have invested all their political capital in trying to get rid of him, crossing every red line in the process.

Right-wing voters must remember two things as they vote today: The forces that want to destroy the Right's ideological success are determined to get the mission accomplished.

Just look at how they managed to have the most recent scandal in the judiciary shoved aside despite the accusations regarding tainted judicial nominations. This underscores these forces' strength and effectiveness in destroying anything in their path and to the slack, they cut themselves on their way to success.

The many questions surrounding this scandal will forever be left unanswered because these forces have no qualms about using their weaponry to do whatever it takes to neutralize anyone who wants to disarm them and give power back to the electorate.

You must realize that their determination to unseat Netanyahu – and through his departure destroy the ideological Right – is more than just a political goal. It is a way to exact revenge.

Netanyahu's rivals have invested all their political capital in trying to get rid of him. Even though some of them have no real chance of replacing him, they have consistently tried to set up some framework that would result in him losing power and hopefully keep their dignity as they do so. They know they will never be able to see the Prime Minister's Residence from within.

New Hope leader Gideon Sa'ar is already in that position. If he and others in that group have any chance of succeeding in their mission, they will do so even if that means crossing every red line by partnering with anyone who could help them deliver their goal. They know it is their last chance.

Right-wing voters must internalize this and understand that only if they stand firm by preserving the true Right will they be able to overcome the Left's destructive campaign.
