One name, in particular, has raised the ire of the UK's Jewish community, who immediately called for a public inquiry into MI6's role in aiding Nazi collaborator Stanislaw Chrzanowski.
Chrzanowski, who grew up in eastern Poland, now part of Belarus, is thought to have murdered more than 30 people during World War II, according to German authorities.
However, UK police have yet to bring charges up against Chrzanowski due to a lack of evidence.
According to the BBC, Chrzanowski, who now resides in Telford, came to Britain in 1946 after being taken as a prisoner of war and joining Allied forces.
