According to a Wednesday report by Channel 12 News, Sapir Berman, who last month became the first transgender soccer referee in Israel's history, has been approached by other content platform and production companies as well.

Berman – formerly Sagi – has worked as a soccer referee for several years in Israel's Premier League. Her publicly coming out as a woman has received the full backing of the Israeli Football Federation and the Soccer Referees Association, as well as the support of family, fans, and Israeli soccer clubs in all leagues.
It also made headline around the world.
Soccer Referees Association chief Yariv Tepper confirmed that Netflix had approached Berman, adding, "She's been getting a lot of offers but this issue will only be addressed after the soccer season ends."
The Israeli soccer season is slated to concluded on May 25.
