Internationally renowned Israeli singer Achinoam Nini, also known professionally as Noa, earned criticism Sunday when while performing in a Tel Aviv rally celebrating the end of Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu's 12-year rule as prime minister, she referred to him as "Haman," – the main antagonist in the Book of Esther, known as "Hamas the evil."
"We finally got rid of Haman," she told revelers.

To Israel Hayom she said, "Yes, I said that and I stand by what I said. That's what I believe in. Netanyahu did a lot of damage to Israel and now we're embarking on a new path."
This is not the first time Nini has lambasted Netanyahu. In past remarks she called him "vulgar," and a "narcissist."
