Riverside 2.0 features automatic transcription that converts videos and podcasts into text.
The new iPhone app allows users to invite guests to record from any location, regardless of the quality of their wifi connection.
According to Riverside.fm, its iOS app is the first that is capable of recording and uploading audio and video tracks simultaneously.
Riverside 2.0 also offers users a "Magic Editor" feature that allows them to compile separate tracks into an HD split-screen video, and AI Speaker View, which automatically highlights active speakers.
"Riverside's local recording engines can cope with poor Internet connections and enables interviewers, from their own homes, to look and sound as if they're using a million-dollar studio. We've given the platform a user-friendly interface with all the capabilities to make the recording, producing and publishing of podcasts as no platform has ever done before," said Nadav Keyson, Riverside.fm co-founder and CEO.
