An Israeli soldier collapsed during a training exercise late on Sunday night on an IDF base in southern Israel, the military confirmed.

The soldier received treatment on-site and was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatments, where doctors said his condition is critical.
The military said that the soldier's family has been informed and they are by his side. The incident is being investigated.
