The demand for new apartments in Israel for the months of June-August 2021 stood at 16,840 – a rise of 9% compared to the previous quarter, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics.

Of the apartments in demand, 82% were newly-built units that had been sold, and 18% were newly-built apartments under construction that had not yet been sold.
According to the Israel Tax Authority, a total of 13,980 purchases of new apartments were completed in the third quarter of 2021.
