Explosions were reported Sunday morning at a US military base at Al-Tanf in the Homs governorate in Syria, which is located near the Syria-Iraq border.

The same base was the target of a drone attack on Oct. 21.
In related news, the Saudi Al-Arabiya news outlet reported that trucked were arriving at Mayadin in eastern Syria. The report, which quoted the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said the trucks were transporting weapons and ammunition for use by pro-Iranian militias in Syria.
