A 15-year-old yeshiva student from Bnei Brak was questioned by the police on suspicion of sexually harassing dozens of girls aged 6-8 in Petach Tikva, the Israel Police announced on Wednesday.

The suspect has been placed under house arrest after his parents posted bail.
The yeshiva student was arrested following a several-month-long undercover investigation conducted by a special police unit dedicated to investigating crimes involving minors after it received dozens of complaints of physical harassment committed by the teenager.
"This special cooperation between all residents and the ultra-Orthodox community in Petach Tikva and the police, has brought security back to our neighborhood and our daughters," a statement from the residents said. "Once again, it's been proven that trust and cooperation yield positive results."
