Esther Pollard, the wife of former spy Jonathan Pollard, was rushed to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center on Saturday, where she was hospitalized in the COVID-19 intensive care unit. She is said to be suffering from septic shock.

According to media reports, Pollard, who has been fighting breast cancer for years, had a positive COVID test in the hospital after negative home tests had indicated that she had recovered from a serious case of the virus.
A friend of the family said she is "in bad shape." Jonathan Pollard has asked the public to pray for her recovery.
