Undercover police killed a Palestinian man early Monday morning in east Jerusalem after he attempted to stab them, according to the police.

The troops were conducting a search for illegal weapons in Muhammad Shaham's home.
As we were closing in on the target, Shaham's family members came out and started confronting the troops when suddenly, he came out holding a knife and tried to stab the officers who responded by shooting a police spokesman said.
Shaham was treated at the scene and was taken for further treatment but later died.
The IDF conducted several raids across Judea and Samaria overnight and arrested several wanted Palestinians suspected of terror activity and seized make-shift weapons.
