The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference) is working to aid Holocaust survivors in south affected by the war.

The group has set up a call center to reach out to survivors in the Gaza periphery and get a better understanding of the situation on the ground. It provides those in need with food support, medicine and psychological trauma treatment.
"We are all devastated by the shocking news in Israel. Our incredibly dedicated staff in Israel continue to work to meet the critical needs of Holocaust survivors throughout the country," Claims Conference President Gideon Taylor said. "We will do all we can to ensure our partners are also able to continue their work during these difficult times. Holocaust survivors face unique challenges in coping with this extremely volatile environment – the Claims Conference is focusing on addressing those needs."
