Cities in central Israel were targeted by a large barrage on Sunday noon, with residents taking cover in the most populated area in the country, from Rishon LeZion to Herzliyya and Hod Hasharon.

There were reports of rocket hits in Rishon LeZion and Herzliyyah, with smoke billowing from the location of the apparent impact in the latter.
In Rishon LeZion, police said there were on the site of an apparent hit by part of a missile, but no casualties were reported.
