A GoFundMe campaign authorized by former President Donald Trump's reelection team has raised over $3.7 million for victims of the shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania, Business Insider reports.

According to Business Insider, Trump's campaign sent a text message to supporters on Sunday, urging unity and including a link to the fundraising drive. "From Trump: FEAR NOT. It is more important than ever that we stand UNITED," the message read.

The GoFundMe page is organized by Meredith O'Rourke, who is identified as Trump's top finance person. As of Sunday afternoon, the campaign had raised $2,464,550, with contributions coming from several high-profile Trump supporters. Among the notable donors to the fundraiser are musician Kid Rock, who contributed $50,000, and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who donated $30,000.

The shooting occurred during Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, which was held as a final event before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens told reporters that at least one person was killed, who has been identified as firefighter Corey Comperatore. Two other adult males were critically injured, though authorities have not released further information about the victims.

His last post. He died shielding his family from bullets. His whole life he protected others, working as a firefighter. This man is a hero.

Trump himself was reportedly grazed by a bullet during the incident. On his Truth Social platform, he wrote, "Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening." The former president noted that the bullet had come within inches of striking his head.
