The iconic TV show "The Simpsons" has once again astounded viewers with its seemingly prophetic abilities. This time, the show's prediction involves Vice President Kamala Harris and her bid for the US presidency, drawing parallels to a 2000s episode featuring Lisa Simpson as America's first female president.

The legendary animated series has made headlines again with another fulfilled prophecy. In a 2000 episode titled "Bart to the Future," Lisa Simpson becomes the first female President of the United States, wearing a purple suit with a pearl necklace and earrings, which were strikingly similar to the outfit Kamala Harris wore during her 2021 swearing-in ceremony.

The show's fans quickly noticed the uncanny resemblance between the fictional character and the real-life political figure. The similarity has sparked discussions across social media platforms. "The Simpsons have become one of the most enduring mysteries of our time!" one fan tweeted.

What about the Lisa Simpson becoming President? This really raised some eyebrows.

It even hit the mainstream news it was so uncanny. pic.twitter.com/oygurUkXpb

One of the show's writers addressed the coincidence on social media, stating, "We're just trying to write funny episodes, but sometimes the randomness is quite amazing." The writer added, "We predicted Trump would be president back in 2000, and that was the most absurd joke we could think of at the time."

The show has previously predicted events such as the Capitol riots, the finale of "Game of Thrones," and the COVID-19 pandemic.
