An IDFs soldier was seriously injured on Sunday in a workplace accident at a military base in central Israel, after being crushed by an elevator.
The soldier was evacuated to a hospital for urgent medical treatment. His family has been notified.
Following the incident, which military officials described as "shocking," the IDF's Military Police launched an immediate investigation into the circumstances. The findings will be transferred to the Military Advocate General for review.
