Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called a high-level meeting Tuesday to discuss Israel's next moves in the Gaza Strip. However, Israel Hayom has learned that ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich have not been invited to the consultation, despite both being members of the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet that manages the war.
This marks the second time the two ministers have been excluded from pivotal decision making regarding the war. Netanyahu previously decided to resume aid deliveries to Gaza last Saturday without their participation.

Notably, Ben-Gvir and Smotrich remain Netanyahu's last remaining political allies following the withdrawal of the ultra-Orthodox parties from the coalition.
The upcoming consultation will include Netanyahu and senior security officials. Although the prime minister reportedly intends to convene the full Diplomatic-Security Cabinet later on, as of now, no such meeting has been scheduled for today or the coming days.
A meeting of the full cabinet has also yet to be set.
