The Hamas terror organization published Friday morning new footage of hostages Guy Gilboa-Dalal and Alon Ohel. The footage shows Guy in a vehicle driving through Gaza City, saying he cannot believe he is still alive after 22 months of captivity. According to his statements, dictated to him by Hamas, he and more than eight additional hostages are expected to die in captivity. He describes a reality of shortages in food, gas, water, and electricity. Guy says he heard about an intention to attack Gaza City – something that fills him with nightmares – and adds that the terrorists announced they would not leave the city, which increases his anxieties.
The terror organization claimed the video was filmed approximately a week ago. Guy addresses the public with a request: "Continue demonstrating a lot and strongly. Stop the madness. I'm begging you to stop this war already." Later, he addresses his friends who were with him in captivity: "Omer, Tal, do everything, speak for us. Cause problems for the government, create chaos. Go out to demonstrate and don't surrender to their extortion."

In the video, he also meets hostage Alon Ohel near a Red Cross headquarters, as claimed, and tells him: "I can't believe I'm seeing you," and Alon responds: "I can't believe it, this is simply insane."
Guy's family responded: "We received a sign of life from our Guy, after half a year from the previous video in which he was seen with Evyatar David, watching their friends being released. Guy, Alon, and more hostages were transferred to Gaza, and we are very concerned for their lives. We must bring them home."
Psychological terror
The most recent footage in which Guy appeared was when Hamas published a video showing him and his friend Evyatar David being brought to watch the release ceremony of hostages Omer Shem Tov, Omer Wenkert, and Eliya Cohen.
They were filmed in a vehicle watching the ceremony and begged to return home. Recently, a video was published of Evyatar David alone, appearing emaciated and thin and suffering from starvation, as he digs his own grave in Hamas tunnels – but there was no trace of Guy in the videos.
The story of the Dalal family is both a miracle and a tragedy, as the two brothers went to the Nova festival, but only one of them, brother Gal, escaped from the terrorists while Guy was kidnapped. Fifteen minutes before the attack began, Guy and then Gal (30) managed to send a selfie photo to their parents. They separated from each other, and when the attack began, each of them tried to escape.

Several hours later, Gal was rescued and transferred to safety, while Guy was documented in a Hamas video as a hostage inside the Gaza Strip. Guy is a childhood friend of hostage Evyatar David. "They grew up together, traveled together to the party, were kidnapped together, and documented together in the same video," said Ilan, adding that the families hope that both are also being held together.
Guy, whose nickname his mother gave him is Guy-go, is a fan of anime series. His dream and plan were to travel to Japan, and the ticket was already purchased. Last April, he was supposed to fly to Japan as part of his big trip, and even studied the language for this purpose.

In a dedicated notebook, Guy was meticulous about Japanese emphasis and grammar, in which he wrote the places he wanted to reach on that big trip. "He had a plane ticket for April," said his mother, Merav, "he planned to travel there, to arrive with the cherry blossom bloom and continue to stay there. He studied Japanese for this; it was his dream."
Guy's brother, Gal Gilboa-Dalal, who himself survived the inferno at the party in Re'im after hiding for eight hours, even traveled to the International Court of Justice in The Hague to file the complaint against Hamas. Then he said about life between hope and despair: "At first I was optimistic, but as time passes, it becomes much harder. It feels like the more time passes, the further everything gets from us, and it's terrible."
