The Nahal Brigade combat team, under the command of the IDF's 99th Division, is operating in the Zeitoun neighborhood in northern Gaza to deepen the gains of the ground maneuver.
As part of their operations, the forces demolished a lengthy underground route where a command center used by Hamas' Zeitoun Battalion had been located. The facility served the terrorist organization in coordinating attacks against Israeli troops.

The brigade targeted and eliminated terrorists hiding in a building, beneath which they uncovered a tunnel shaft connected to the destroyed underground network.
In addition, dozens of terrorist targets were hit, including observation posts and weapons depots that posed a direct threat to IDF forces in the area.
Earlier, IDF Arabic-language spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning to residents of Gaza City living near the al-Rawiya Tower. He called on them to evacuate immediately, saying the IDF was targeting the building due to Hamas terrorist infrastructure located inside or nearby. The statement urged civilians to move south to the designated humanitarian zone in al-Mawasi, near Khan Younis, for their safety.
