Six people were murdered in a terrorist shooting attack Monday at the Ramot Junction in Jerusalem.
The victims include: Yaakov Pinto, 25, originally from Spain, who had recently married. Levi Yitzchak Pash, a maintenance worker at the Kol Torah Yeshiva, remembered for his dedication and kindness. Yisrael Metsner, 28, one of the young lives cut short in the attack. Rabbi Yosef David, 43, a resident of Jerusalem's Ramot neighborhood. Rabbi Mordechai Steintzag, Founder Of "The Pastry Of Doctor Mark" Bakery. Sarah Mendelson, 60, from the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood in Jerusalem.
Reports say 20 people were hit in the Jerusalem attack, including six who were killed, three in serious condition, and the rest suffering light to moderate injuries.

The two terrorists were neutralized after opening fire at a bus and a hitchhiking post at the Ramot Junction. Eyewitnesses said one of the assailants apparently boarded the bus to carry out the attack. It appears the terrorists were killed by an Israel Defense Forces soldier and a young ultra-Orthodox man.
Police spokesperson Aryeh Doron said there had been no specific warning of the attack. "The police commissioner is holding an initial situation assessment," he noted.

In response, the IDF encircled several villages around Ramallah. Additional elite forces were deployed to the scene, as part of a wider reinforcement of security across Judea and Samaria to prevent copycat attacks.

Magen David Adom paramedic Nadav Tayeb described the scene as chaotic and devastating: "We arrived with large forces immediately after receiving the report of shooting casualties. When we got there, we saw people lying on the road unconscious, near the bus stop on the roadside and sidewalk. There was extensive destruction, shattered glass on the ground, and great commotion. We began providing medical treatment to the wounded, and we are continuing at this time to treat them and evacuate them to hospitals," he said.
